@itsinthesink : You would be proud too if you can grow vegetables that big to feed the entire village or neighborhood. I'm thinking this guy is using genetically modified corn. Natural corn don't get that tall. Or he's using some miracle grow potion on his plants.

about how many ear of corn does each one produce on average though? I'm just starting my garden but I think it's safe to assume you don't get many ears, and when you do it's above the 8+ feet mark of the fully grown plant.
