You can take out the 4wd fuse in the front and there you have it RWD. But to really make it a RWD you need to take out the front CV shafts.

@GTO1GTO don't do that on an R33 or R34. They have backup power to the ATTESA system. If you pull the fuse you get a little lockup of the center diff. This eventually burns it out. Learned this the hard way. Its just 4 bolts to pull the front driveshaft from the center diff to the front diff.

@starcrutch have to be careful on an R33, or R34. They have backup power to the ATTESA system. Pull a fuse and it sends about 10% torque to the front. Too much time playing, and you burn the transfer clutch. I learned this the hard way.

Then you overhead and burn the center clutch pack. So, if you want to be responsible for a $1500 transfer case, then recommend that someone pulls a fuse. Otherwise, you are going to want to listen to what I have to say.

@fenix8634 No. The ATTESA system, the all wheel drive system has a hydraulic pump that can control lockup of the center differential. The center differential splits the power from front to rear. By adding an aftermarket controller, you can open the center diff, and do burnouts.
