The first fish I caught when I was 5 was a striper. A little one of corse, but i've been fishing ever since. It's been 10 years and hasn't gotten boring yet. I mostly use crickets for bait, since I have no intention of catching a gigantic fish. I've caught a 15 pound carp with crickets though. My friends think i'm weird. All of them are grossed out by fish and bugs.

Hey I dont get it when people release the fish after they catch it is it becuase they cant eat the fish or something like is the fish bad to eat or do they just catch for fun then let it go?
The fisherman is awesome on the water. I have had the pleasure of fishing with him and seeing him in action. He is a natural and with a flyrod he's a young version of Lee Wulff. Congrats...my friend.
