He (Hamid) beat the shit out of Billy's feet and legs with that *falaka* stick, about 15 wacks..Billy's feet were so swollen he couldn't walk for a couple weeks.. But: Hamid was killed outside the prison by an ex-Turk inmate, not by Hayes..His real escape was more complex, and not from the same prison..
