  • More informative then Hanna Minx's lesson or Applemilks's intense lesson. .-.

  • haha i love this

  • So cute! Loved it! And I'll bet that the cutey sure was popular! She looks gorgeous!

  • I've heard Soseki Natsume had translated " I love you" into "あなたといると月がきれいですね ".

I'm not good at English, but I tried to retranslate this phrase into English.

"Being with you, the moon becomes more beautiful." something like that?

  • @OchawanKenobi What are you talking about?Your english is really good.

  • realy enjoying all of your video

  • funny way to learn, :)

  • i didn't get why you shouldnt say aishiteru in the beginning of the video

  • @RockGrl007

It's too strong a word for the Japanese, it's like the equivalent of asking a girl/boy you just met to be your eternal love partner till death. It will just scare your potential lover away.

Use "suki da" or "daisuki desu" instead

  • @Slaushster

Depends on the relationship. My fiancee, who is Japanese, used it on me in the first year we started dating. I didn't know it is basically the nuclear weapon of expressions of love until I asked someone. Guess I'm stuck now. ;-)

  • I love how they speech japanese so casually in this, helps you learn the way you would if you were IN japan, picking up the way normal japanese people speak

  • It's funny when he says It really angrily, "I REALLY LIKE YOU!!!!"

  • @Djinnfest hahaha!

  • wait i didnt got it

    i Love you means Kokohaku?

    Gawwd im so dum b

  • @TheConverseCore

kokuhaku = the act of love confessing

    Aishiteru = love you

  • cha= term a indearment (I think) this would be for girls

kun=is for boys i think it's like saying sweetie or somthing

  • I would like to talk with u Keiko-san.

  • VERY CUTE !

  • hey why didn't u sub the hentai part :P

hmm I was wondering is it correct to say

    Nihon-go ga ski desu

    meaning I like japanese language

is it correct syntactically and semantically ?

  • @DrCOMPUT3R no problem. but usually the romaji is spelt suki, even though the "u" is usually shortened and the duration of the "s" overlaps to the point that you don't really the the "u"...

    Yes, 日本語がすきです is just fine.

  • @DrCOMPUT3R im no expert but it sounds right....

    except it's spelled suki

  • aishite imasu - I shit in my shoe LOL

  • @ketansthoughts

How a confession of love in japanese might be misunderstood in english countries XD

  • Ai Shi Teru ? Is that how ? Im confuzzled :(

  • you guys are funny

  • haaaaaaaaaaaarddddddddd

  • heelpp . man someone just send me "i love you" in japanese, i got lost during this video

  • ai sheet te ru... "aishi teru"

  • they said you shouldn't say aishiteru or aishite imasu and the woman said she's back off. suki (da(normal)/desu(Polite)) is a good option -> i like you. then there's daisuki too. that's stronger. but the woman said that's a little to forward and she said hentai (pervert) but they translated it with freak. (dai written with kanji for big after all! =))

  • It's "aishiteru".

There's a lot of ways to say it though.

  • You can say "Suki"that means"I love you"

  • ai shiteru

  • ashiteru

  • Aishiteru i believe? anybody correct me if i'm wrong.

  • ai shiteru

  • i love you is spelt ''watashi wa anata ga sukie desu.'' you do not pronounce the u in desu. i learned this from one of my japanese friends. i am not japanese.

  • "I love you" in Japanese = aishiteru (ah-sh-teh-roo) Remember, the "r" is like a soft "D" or a soft "L". Be careful when using it, because it's not something you just come out and say. You'd have better luck with daisuke (pronounced: dye-skee in English), which means "I like you". Of course, this all depends on the person your saying it to, and your current state of relationship with that person. Hope this helps.

  • ashiteru

  • AISHITERU means I love you, in the sense of I seriously love you. Whereas it is more common to say a less serious version of this, which I think is "daisuki desu" (pronounced "die-ski-dess"), meaning "I really like you".

  • aishitemasu. haha :)

  • Aishiteru = I love you.

  • Suki daiyo

  • aishiteru -I love you

    suki-like

    eg1 tanaka-san ga suki desu - I like you tanaka-san

    eg2 tanaka-san wo aishitemasu!

  • Comment removed

  • At 1:13 after he says "I've always watched you" he says "Kyou no panty wa kirei." which means "Today's panties are pretty" That just had me ROFL. XD

  • LMAO!

  • *Giggling*

  • I am still new at japanese, I say watashi robe anata. for I love you.

  • What about I WANT YOU.

  • I love you=Wa ai li (Taiwanses)

  • it's wa ai ni and its chinese too u no

  • its wo ai ni

  • wo ai ni -__-

  • isn't it wo ai ni?

  • wo ai ni is chinese! AISHITERU IS JAPANESE

  • that's chinese

  • nope. wo ai ni is chinese ^_^

  • That's Mandarin :)

  • wo ai ni is I love you...in Chinese

  • thats chinese :D

  • Hmm WO AI NI (我愛你) is chinese for I LOVE YOU

  • wo ai ni is in cantonese not japanese. It means

    "I love you."

  • not exactly.

    wo ai ni is mandarin

    Ngo oiy ney is cantonese.

  • wo ai ni is mandarin o.o

  • I think wo ai ni is mandarin :o Maybe it's the same in cantonese, I don't know...But I'm sure it's wo ai ni in mandarin ^^

  • no, wo ai ni is actually 'i love you' in mandarin, not cantonese

  • 'wo ai ni' means 'i love you' in mandarin, not cantonese.

  • no wo ai ni is manderin for i love you o-o.

  • what the frick, that's mandarin.

  • that dude is an baka/bakero/bakamono/bakame and his an du'aho lol!!!!

  • so...they are talking way too fast! how do you say i love you in japanese!

  • i think it is sukiyo

  • "I love you" = suki (pronounced like skii)

"I love you very much" = daisuki (pronounced dai-skii)

"I love you" (romantically) = aishiteru

  • As they said in the video, the I love you = "Aishiteru", but that's not really what you say if you confess to some one, you say use "Suki"(to like) instead, "Suki desu".

  • I'll write it like you say it.

    Aiesteru.

But Suki dayo and Daisuki are also possible

  • i like you is ga ski dess(or actualy watashi wa anata ga ski dess)

  • You can just Say 'Anata ga suki'

  • Actually, it's spellt "dai suki desu"

  • i thought it that was all one word ...

i could be totally wrong though =(

  • 'dai' actually means in this case... "i really like you' so if you want to just say i like you its just 'suki desu'....

  • actually suki desu would I believe be I like you and daisuki desu would be I REALLY like you...>> I also believe they demonstrated that in the video when he said not to come on too strong "kokuhaku...suki desu...DAISUKI DESU..." ^^....not that it helps really since your reply was from 2 months ago but maybe others who read will be a little more well sorted out on the subject!

  • lol panty kirei! this guy is funny.

  • i love it how he can just wswitch in and out of the language so fluently

  • Yeah, amazing isn't it? I wish I could do that :) I can only do it with Dutch and English (Dutch being my native language) but it's easier to learn English as it's so common all around the world and television etc.

  • Well yeah plus Dutch is similar to English, but Japanese is completely different.

  • aishiteru YAOI!

    ...heh

  • its dai-suu--kiii dai suki

  • lol "I like you. I REALLY like you!!" XD

  • Im trying to learn how to say i love you can anybody tell me how to say it?

  • it might seem extremly complicated but its simple. take a deep breath in, open ur mouth, and say i love u. Good luck man, keep practising, someday ull master the technique =o =D

  • "ai lav ju" that's how you say it lol
