I wonder how old this guy is. He looks around my age, and is in great shape. Good concentration. Smooth movement, looks like he is always on balance. There is always someone talking about how boards don't hit back. I have only broken two boards at a time, and it stings even if you do it well. To do this many is a true testament to his skill and toughness in my opinion. Job well done, and for a good cause.

And what art do you practice? A REAL martial artist recognizes the value in EVERY style. No style is superior to another, only teachers can be superior in how they train their students. Just because many TKD schools in America make it too easy for their students doesn't mean that every school does the same, or that TKD is a bad style. Art is exactly that...... art. i was there, i go to his skool im a 1st dan black belt. tat was his 1 min break but later on he did another record 4 breast cancer. it was 3362 in 1 hour & no im not just saying tat cuz of the title ask me any questions about the skool & i can answer them.

really? i'm speechless, so i'm glad i'm typing at you, goofy gothy. people counted how many boards went out, and subtracted the number of boards left unbroken, so that even if they -were- idiots (mc32bsail, definitely recognize i respect the people and know they aren't!), even if -they- couldn't do math, someone who can manage subtraction (maybe you, gothy, but idk...) could double-check. and many people did.

Usually Pine #2 is used. I get mine at the Home Depot or Lowes. You can also special order pre-cut boards from martial arts supply companies.

Taped hands=less damage to hands. There wasn't padding, just a few strips around to minimize the cuts that can come from the edges when breaking multiple boards. This is speed breaking, when he does power breaking he doesn't wrap. He still had to soak his hands in ice water afterwards.
