  • not one person on behalf of expert village is an expert

  • @AuroraSunset lol

  • Completely fucking useless! NOTHING about how you get your input set up or levels or routing etc etc. FUCKING USELESS !!

  • Import our Free drum samples instant download

    original-music.co.uk

  • I'm looking for some help. I have a lot of noise in my recordings, can someone tell how that come? What should I do? I use a USB Mixing Studio MW12 mixer. Maybe my settings are not ok....some help please. Thank You.

  • My songs don't sound as good as they do normally after I export the audio, what could I be doing wrong, I use a motu 2408 audio interface with cubase 4, while the program is open they sound really good but once I export them.... not so well

  • @mrhensonandmrhartzog That depends into what you are exporting. Low bitrate mp3 sounds really bad.

  • Can you please let us know if you use a DI box or not?

  • lol @tully

  • USELESS

  • Thank you expert village, for that completely useless tutorial.

  • mine isnt recording rite it says it is but it doesnt show wave form and my vocals have delay

  • asshole

  • but how do I edit the input? My digitech isnt automatically recognized

  • First of all... never record any instruments in stereo or anything really... Guitar especially.. you will want to record in mono then record a 2nd guitar similar to the first and pan about 2 o'clock and 10 o'clock... there is your stereo sound and it sounds much better...

  • im using a guitar rig mobile sound card and i dont know why when im clicking for recording, it dosent detect my card ? and it is connected etc help me please

  • I cant hear myself when I click play. It shows that it's recording and I can Se the soundwave things but I cant hear it? Do I need to change and output or something?

  • O my god i exaclty have the same problem everything is working but i cant hear the sound that im singin on .. its so weird and only when i unplug my mic i can hear what i recorded or the instrumental that i sang on.. did u figure how to fix it ? lease help me thank you

  • @ gadigadigadi: Probably because your sound card is not good enough or it doesn't have the best drivers.Go and buy an M-Audio or an E-MU card with 150 - 300 euros to do the job and don't forget to put the headphones at the direct monitoring insert. ;)

  • someone please help, when i press monitor button i can hear myself but there is delay...why? how cani fix that...

  • Awesome song made in cubase. search for lil-kay ft harry j - all these things. youtube it now.

  • u need to go on devices

  • i know u can bounce audio in cubase but i just cant record "internal sounds "

is there a setting i need to activate?

    thanx if u know

  • when i open cubase its just a gray screen with nothing else, and i can't even add track etc, how do i reset it all?

  • i just got cubase le4 today, u need to press file/new project. then it opens everything up. i still dont know how to use it though lol

  • kinda rare tutorial man.

you should let them peops know, that if you record in stereo, you have to use 2 mics for input, to get a stereo sound. cause one instrument or singer is one source and can´t create a stereo sound. what you discribe is just a mono record and should be recorded on a mono track in your project.

  • Please help me,,,, When I'm recording I'm getting this "popping" sound, and it fucking annoys me,,, please help me

  • hey i cant get the little record button on the audio track to light up red, i click it and nothing happens, does anyone knoe whats wrong

  • press F4

  • no metronome?

  • how can I make a sound from cubase 4?

no midi keyboard , i use nanopad , cubase is pain in the ass for me !

MY asio DRIVE WORK FINE , my setup instrument is fine , but no sound at all .

any one have any ideas ?

  • thanks. um, okay, well i got halfway there. i imported my instrumental song and it played it alright. then i connected my mic to my computer but it didn't pick up my mic when i pressed record. it picked up the machine. the recording's there, but the sound didn't go through and you can't even hear it. does anybody recognize my problem? i do hope i've explained it well enough.

  • due thanks a million woooooooooooooooo

  • but how do i connect my guitar to my computer??

  • If it's an electric you will need an audio interface with an Instrument Input. You plug your guitar into it, arm the track for recording, hit play, and record.

  • i just installed cubase sx3 and everything is working fine but when ever i try to record, it picks up my vocals late and doesnt line it up properly. can anybody help me on this problem???

  • Your having a latency issue, you probably need a better sound card or a mixer with firewire.

  • I got no line in signal, where can i configure this?. Everything goes well with my amplitue but in cubase i got no signal

  • My audio isn't getting to the program.

  • how can i change my soundcard? ive got an mic that works in every other software but in cubase it dont. so i guess i have to change my soundcard. where can i do that?

  • first off make sure you have ASIO 4 ALL installed, check the forums and all that mess to get more info [ASIO doesn't like me :(] then if you're REALLY intent on buyin a new soundcard, after you get it, open up your PC [make sure you get the right type of card to fit your mother board] slap it in the PCI/PCI express slot connect your speakers and mic and ur good to go. OR you can buy an audio interface and that cuts all the work in half :) Hope that helped some.

  • i use cubase sx a tube mp and a nt1a rode mic

to record my vocals the same stuff a freind of mine would use to record our vocal the only thing is it would sound way more professionale when he audio engineer the vocals please help it suck knowing ur stuff doesnt sound as good as u now it can be

  • when i try to record i just get a horrible screach noise can you tell me how to stop it

  • yeah me to! how do i stop that?

  • turn off your speakers or mute them
