  • He forgot that C stands for Conservative...And if he has enough time to be writing poems that are so infantile that a 5 year old would scoff, why isn't he using that time to try to come up with solutions to some of our country's problems?

  • thumbs up if you're here from ATTN

  • Triple trouble! Big time trouble!

  • I didn't know that Dr. Seuss got elected to Congress.....

  • @EtherTrace

Yes, Dr Seuss ........ REJECT got elected to Congress.

    Believe it or not.

    - Dwight

  • The song he pulled this from can be said to symbolize the state of politics in our nation. It's one big pool game, and no matter what they be called, gentlemen (Democrats) or bums (Republicans), they are still just pool players.

We now have a political class in this country. If you're disillusioned enough to think socialism is the right way for us to go, especially with the bureaucracy we already have in place..you should read more. Red vs. Blue is a tired facade, don't get caught up in it.

  • I see somebody who had politics as their backup plan after dropping out of theatre school :(

  • T! rhymes with P! rhymes with C! rhymes with G! I'm Angry! rhymes with D!...and it stands for democrat.

  • BIATCHHHHHHHHHHH OLD WHITE GUY!!!!

  • I'M ANGRY!

  • hearing like he reading the lyrics lol

  • theatrics like this are utterly worthless

  • OK clearly people are thinking he's trying to make a kindergarten rhyme. It's actually a parody of a song from the Broadway musical "The Music Man." Just to clear things up...

  • BAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA XD

  • Another Republican fan of Broadway showtunes?

  • umm... wtf?

    that meant nothing to me.

  • I learnt this from autune the news

  • So did I

  • Same here!

  • Same!

  • Gawd, how I HATE all Rethuglicant's!!ELungren's a LOSER!

  • moron

  • I really think that they should have just brought the cast of "The Music Man" movie and just had Matt Brodrick sing that for the congress. I'm sure it would have been much more sucessful a speech then seeing some random Congressman from California try and sing. That really sucked.

  • SOMEONE PLEASE AUTO-TUNE THIS TO THE ACTUAL SONG!!!!! Also, lets clean out the idiots like this from Congress!!!!

  • AM ANGRY

  • This video proves it's not what you say that matters, but how you say it.

  • Best Intentional Rhymer

  • exactly xP

  • Am I really missing something, or did that really not make any sense whatsoever?

  • he totally wrote that so it would be auto tuned

  • I second that

  • haha yes

i think i'm going to go into politics now

  • Leave it to a Republican to assume that intelligent political discourse is found in citing a song about moral outrage from a 50 year old movie. Although...striking unfounded fear in the hearts of the population with a distraction, so that you can in fact achieve your own ambitions and ends...that does sound like the modus operandi of the Republilcan party. So maybe it was a good reference for him.

  • Right now, I'm your biggest fan

  • What a moron. How do functional retards like this even get elected.

  • only in California. jk lol

  • look at the way he said "democrat" at 0:36

  • uh.... shouldn't he be striving for common ground & compromise- not causing dissention?

  • Haha, from the Music Man! That's great!

  • Auto-Tune the News #7 lol

  • I'm Republican and that was retarded. These people aren't elected to read their crappy poetry.

  • @rj141 dude, please tell me you're joking

  • XDDD

  • DIRTY DEMS...THEY WILL PAY

  • Damn, his rhymes are TIGHT!

  • yeah man this jam is totally dope

  • Did he forget that Harold Hill was a con man? Not exactly the best rhetoric...

  • He didn't even do it right... if you're gonna be witty and musical, be witty and musical. That was thoughtless and monotone.

  • What the hell is this?

    Does he think he's funny?

Are there other representatives like him, wasting time in the House by spewing stupid banal rhymes instead of solving our nation's problems?

  • No, they spend their time arguing over things like steroids in sports and whether or not to officially commemorate the life of Michael Jackson.

  • Name calling will get us nowhere.

  • Brilliant!

  • LOL

    Dr. Suess is a (R)

  • another stupid (R)

  • Lungren has made some of the most ridiculous statements in Congress & introduced some of the most idiotic leglistation.

    He never fails to amuse.

  • Comment removed

  • If you call rhyming like a pre schooler common sense, then yes.

  • Sacramento sure knows how to pick it's politicians! Is he trying to break into show business now, to follow the leaders (????) of the Golden State?

Move over Arnold, a new actor/singer/comedian?

Yeah, we need some yucks around home!

  • this guy ran for governor of california and was soundly beaten. He is to the right of adolf Hitler. He's wealthy and doesn't give a hoot about anybody but himself and his crowd.

  • Adolf Hitler was a socialist that is far left...

  • Dan Lungren? You've got to be kidding.

  • Right, we're broke because of the democrats.

8 years of the Bush administration's shady economic dealings have nothing to do with our current situation.

Run that song and dance some where else,

Robert Preston's turning in his grave.

  • Maybe 8 years of the Bush Administration didn't help us financially, but the Democrats are sure not making things better as they promised.

  • It's the time to give republicans a kick on the face and move on. 14000 people lose their coverage every week.
