@oafficer Drawing artists like to do a quick light sketch with a pencil before they go over it in a darker ink pen so they don't mess up in the process. That's what makes you a great drawing artist because you sketch it out first and then you add details later. If you draw it to dark to start off, your gonna end up with all these erase marks and your drawings gonna look like crap afterwards. Tracing isn't a bad thing at all. It helps increase your drawing skills until you can do it without it.
