damn son those are some dope ass beats. must be one of the best i heared on youtube. who else used that searching sample in the 90 s i think i heared it on a jazzie jeff mixtape
You have true talent dude The sound of your beats are rich and artful. Many people use the words' beast' and a 'dope beat maker' too loosely and give credit were they should not
But you are truly talented and need to seriously think about being a professional producer.
the pad play mode is cool but once your inside a sequence how do you drum trigger your pads..it seems like its on "gate" anyone know if you can switch mode into drum?
these albums remind my of when i was a kid, secretly listening to (and scratching up) my brother's albums... i just bought love island.. thanks for the memories :)
I don't know if anybody noticed, but on the Roy Ayers joint, right before the "Searching" part comes in, there is a sample that was used by Ed O.G. The "Be A Father to Your Child" joint! I don't know who produced it for him back then, but I was just pointing it out to any peeps that may have missed it!
A3 you piss me off man. YOu know why? I do not know how you get your drums to breath like that. I try and try and try, but to know avail. Dont know how you do it, but you send me back to the lab to work harder! Damn A3, those drumz.
Yo wudup man, what made you decide to go with the mv over the mpc? I know bottom line its all bout the talent in the man or woman, but if there are some advantages I dont want to play myself following trends (mpc's are super popular) I just want the best possible tool. So what was the thing(s) that made the decision clear for you? 'Preciate it. Peace.
Yeah! A3 ! thanks for the comment that day you gave me confident about my MV! you are right I don't need a synth its all sample and improv. Madd respect!
The first beat was very cinematic & mellow! Nice indeed! The Roy Ayers joint used by Pete Rock was tight too! Nice flip on the "Searching". 2008 style remix bruh! I think Pete would be proud! All your beats were very good indeed! Your skills are growing with your experience on the MV! I'm glad to see more peeps are noticing the endless uses of the MV!I can't wait to get mine & will definitely hit you up for advice! Peace to the MV Nation, holding it down!

does the mv 8800 come wit a good drum library?
roflmaogg 2 years ago
It's alright, I use a few sounds in some of the kits. The vintage kits are dope. Other than that, I mostly chop my own drums up.

the beats are on point. keep up the good work a3.

They both have a quick learning curve and ease of use. The MV is more visual which helps people that are familiar with DAW's.

ruslanio 3 years ago
It's a Numark TTUSB. They go for like $150 and decent quality depending on the cartridge you use.

I see, can you scratch on it, or do you have to change the needle?
