Those therapies and ministries make millions in profit per year. Professional ex-gays (poster-boys) are employed by these groups to tour, lecture and sell books. Some even marry and have kids. But one by one they are proven liars and forced to resign.
Basic biology proves homosexuality is part of natural diversity & recognized medical associations concur, after nearly a century of research. Not to mention the word of actual gay people, which you seem to believe yourself qualified to contradict.

well i am fully aware of the shams and rediculous therapy groups out there.. those are not who i am talking about... there are no biological studies of any kind that can point out a biological reasoning for homosexuality.... if there is i would like to see it i cant find any. also many psychologists still to this day can associate homosexuality to broken homes... or boyhood trama.. its more of a social and self image illness..... that can be dealt with and that can be treated.

IMO to discuss this topic in the sphere of morality and-or religion places it outside the arguments of biology, nature, psychology and many of the platforms we have shared.
Typically I don't engage debates in which the crux of the argument is moral or religious. No person can ultimately prove such convictions more valid.
If they could, religion and morality would be universally equal. God knows we've fought enough wars over them. However, they remain quite diverse even within our own culture.

Most actions we described as 'moral' are really, IMO, common sense. Murder, theft, lying, etc. These things have long been considered wrong as they typically cause direct harm. The concept of ascribing a 'moral' label came much later.
Yet finer points of 'morality,' such as the acceptable age for marriage, these differ widely around the globe, as we also see in recognizing non-heterosexual people.

i understand that however what is morality apart from religion.. it is simply consequences of actions deciding morality.. i agree that much is based on tradition and culture, but in the case of homosexuality it is mere consequence oriented.. for instence, anal sex rips the outer walls and opens wounds for disease due to fesease getting into the bloodstream.. its a simple consequence and it difines its rightness.

Know it is a stereotype that all gay men practice anal sex. Additionally, lesbians have the lowest rate of STD transmission of any demographic.
