he's intelligent.. and his voice is so calming.. and the interviewer is one of the best I've seen, he never interupts Viggo, just lets him talk, very rare these times..
he has a very relaxing tune.. a rather deep voice.. I really like it, but I can understand people saying it's tiring. How many languages does he actually speak? Danish, english, spanish..?
He's so cool, definitely a role model, but without trying to be. He really has a point about portraying minorities in movies though, it ought not to be a big deal. He is very talented, and very wise, two qualities that don't always go together. Thanks for posting! he rocks!
Yes, many Muslims are good people and most of them want peace. But there a are disturbing percentage of them that would rather have their peace gouverned by Islamic rule. And sadly, that means hell for the non believers, particularly women. Islam really is the most horrible, dangerous ideology, an absolute dragon to democracy. Long live George Bush!
Muslims have generally ignored every act of daily Islamic terror that now threatens the lives of everyone and probably always will. Instead, Muslims save their outrage for times when when a Western leader makes a public statement against veils, or when someone draws a Muhammad cartoon - things that are trivial in comparison to things like beheading, and blowing innocent people every day on trains and buses. Islam and Muslims go around demsnding respect, whilst giving none back in return.
wow. obviously someone doesnt really know any Muslims and doesnt know that a lot of members of other religions give up on their own to become Muslim. its so easy to hate people and use quotes to reinforce youre expressions.
it sounds like you have no knowledge of Islam and why it is growing. meet a true Muslim and you will get it. Muslims have given the world more blessings than your hate can ever extinguish.
To understand Islam, you must understand the harsh circumstances into which it was born. The Arabian Peninsula at the time of Muhammad (b.570 AD) was a barren, desolate region with a scorching sun and a chilling cold at night. There was little vegetative growth, and the nomadic inhabitants lived between jagged rocks and sand sifting sand dunes. Whilst Europe and much of the Middle East was transitioning from the Roman to the Byzantine Empire with roads, irrigation canals, aqueducts, and . . .
and a culture that included philosophical discourse, the Arabians lived short and brutal lives in warring tribes with little to offer the rest of the world beyond their own harsh existence. This partly explains the inherent hostility within Islam, and why so many people loose their lives in the name of this horrible religion every each year. Instead of accepting responsibility for Islamic terror that is dividing this world, Muslims look for reasons to shrik it. Some even grasp onto the . . .
the wild conspiracy theories that blame Americans for 9/11 - just as the millions of Jihad victims over the centuries are in some way held responsible for their slaughter as well. The Islamic holy lands are ightly being invaded because they are the masterminds behind the primary Islamic goal (Eliminate everyone so Islam can rule the world) and they have acted as hindrances in the efforts of America's right to defend themselves. Never mind telling me I know nothing about Islam and Muslims. . .
1. What exactly do you mean with 'Arabs'? Which country, nation, religion, people? 2. Replace 'Arabs' with Catholics Protestants Muslims Women Gays Serbs Croats Jews, and replace Europeans with whatever group that comes into your mind. Exterminate, destroy, gas, nuke them is exactly what Hitler - and others - did. What you wrote is pure fascism. Violence begets violence begets violence. I speak out against any form of xenophobia, racism, hatred and intolerance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:D :D :D this guy is SO amazing! He puts smiles all over my face! :D :D :D and the fact that he's a horse person just makes him 1000000000 times hotter! :D :D :D rock on Viggo!
i think the reason we all want to be like him or connected with him is because he has such a beautiful aura about him- he expresses his opnions without being harsh to others and etc. such a peaceful and harminious person!
he belongs wherever he wants to belong. Where does anyone belong? independency makes us decide if we want to be indian or english... strange discussion to have.. where on belong...
I love Viggo. He is not only an actor, but also a poet, a photographer, and he seems to be so intelligent! Then, I loved LOTR and, of course, Aragorn is my favourite character. "Hidalgo" is a good film, too, and also "A History of Violence"...Ehr...I have not saw "Alatriste" yet.
I love the fact that he respects other cultures so deeply. Everyone should be that tolerant about things. I also admire his view of the American invasion of Iraq. War is not the answer.
yes, I agree....he is a very down to earth guy and even answered more of our questions off line (over the phone), even with his busy "press junket" schedule! He is definitely not the typical Hollywood star!
