I love the raw simplicity of the studio. To me, it somehow resembles the characteristic of a grainy black and white photograph in that it invites you "in" in a way that perhaps the polish of the larger stage never quite does. I find the intimacy of the studio compelling - a kind of unrehearsed spontaneous combustion....a "box seat" on an exquisite art form....

Everybody talks about "her curves", but yet i realize she is very thin, so...that makes me think, her body might be one of the most beautiful in the world of dance. She has muscles, long arms, legs and neck, and yet, she has a feminine shape...i think that is what ballet should engourage, the respect for the human body, its shape and beauty, cause after all it is a tool for dancers, and i think she represents the beauty of a women's body.

It's not that "they're supposed to be skinny" yes, being light is very very helpful when it comes to partnering, but the amount have time that professional dancers spend rehearsing, and practicing molds their bodies into perfectly toned instruments. And the ones that are at the top are also in general riduculously healthy, eating all the right things in all the right amounts, because they have to in order to keep their "instrument" in top working condition.

Omf there is nothing wrong with her breast or her body. i think that she is absolutely gorgeous! she is an amazing dancer. and yes alot of female dancers would like her breast. because alot of really good dancers have nothing left because of all the exercise they do. and anyways, since when did having big breast have anything to do with ballet?? there are alot of dancers who would kill for her body.

about the conversation about her breast, i think her body is really beautiful, because lets not forget that, after all, she is a women, and has a women body, my teacher has told me, that, yes, breast in ballet is not a common thing because of the amount of exersice, but having or not, what matters is the expresion of the body not its volume or shape, the structure does matter, but feeling is overall, the most important part of a dancer's body.

Every ballerina has one or other favourite model of pointe shoes (eg. among Sansha pointe shoes you have the model ovation, gloria....) and usually that's what they wear for practising anf for stage. Note that a principal ballerina can "waste" as much as 3 or 4 pairs of these shoes for a single ballet performance!
