No it just means that it had a low budget and can't afford to put itself in theaters. Tons of terrible movies have gone into theaters. White Noise is a prime example. Then some decent movies like The hills Have Eyes. Then some awesome movies like The Descent. The same goes for Direct to DVDs. Fear House was awful. Are You Scared was decent. And Infection is awesome. Don't discriminate based on if its gone into theaters. I've heard nothing but awful things about Mirrors but good things from Creep
