I wonder after you had them all finished and shaped the way you wanted if you could use metallic puff or fabric paint cant rem the name, the kind that comes in the lil bottles with the tiny tips made for writing, and add lil dots and veins with that? Have you ever tried?

sometime i am going to get all the supplies and try these out and also show these to a friend who is making her own fairies, she might possibly be able to use this as this is the type of wings that she is thinking about trying to make for her creations...
