Russians are training their air defence units on ranges. They have the biggest test site for air defence missiles. The only american missile used to fight real army is stinger!

@kibabiba Actually the F-117 was shot down yes with one missle, but 1) it took a huge volleys of S-300's to finally make a hit. Furthermore they were only able to track it after the bomb bay doors had opened. 3) NATO had made the mistake of flyng the exact same routes and did not factor in visual spotters 4) Serbia had spies at Italy watching and communicating when the F-1117 would take and given the known speed, could predict when it would be their territory and ....

@kibabiba 5) the Serbian commander who shot it down stated it was notoriously hard to track even with their techniques and despite the fact they knew where and when the aircraft would be. 6) Even Dani noted the massive amount resources needed to secure that one kill is not practical as it literally took a small army. @kibabiba It was deployed in Operation Iraqi Freedom but never used.

However, it has the large advantage of building off of the mistakes/problems the PAC-1/2 experienced. Something the S-300/400 does not have.

If you can battle test a system, you will have a much better idea of what needs to be fixed & how to do it.

You can really work out the "child diseases" that appear in most untested systems that enter combat.

USA already test PDB-6 on F-22 Raptor! So much for 5th Generation Stealth Fighter Aircraft like Russia/Brazil PAK FA, India Sukhoi/HAL FGFA, & China J-XX are going be useless! USA always one step away from Russia just like during Cold War against Soviet Union! PDB-6 is going be way superior & better than SA-20 GARGOYLE, SA-21 Growler, & SA-23 Giant! Lockheed Martin has proposed an air launched variant of the PAC-3 missile for use on the F-15C. Other aircraft, such as the F-22 and P-8A Poseidon, have also been proposed. In the long term, it is expected that existing Patriot bateries will be gradually upgraded with MEADS technology. PDB-6 is going track enemy aircraft over 400 km the one S-400 could track! PAC-3 Was desinged to git targets if they somehow got thorugh are pretty much huge airforce..S-400 was designed for countrys with out huge airforces..these are just facts

in case you dont know, those who say that s400 is much better then pac3 should imagine wich missile is harder to avoid, an incomming 300kg pac3 or 1800kg s400.

Could a GPS bullet be tracked if it was stolen and actually tracking all bullets and even easier GPS tracked grenades. No one would ever no there being tracked because any stolen bullet has GPS capacity. Then being able to graph all bullets around the world, and take statistics on shooting in a war.

There is no perfect interceptor missile. For example in Kuwait some of the scud lauch from Iraq was not all destroyed by the Patriot missile. Still the Patriot has good success rate. Laser are more accurate but are very expensive compare to the Patriot.

No, the Arrow is a theater missile defense system (designed to defeat ballistic missiles) made by an Israeli company and Boeing. The Patriot was designed to counter the threat of enemy aircraft, cruise and ballistic missiles at a shorter range than the Arrow. The US Army will soon have its own theater missile defense system, the THAAD, soon.
