Had Hopkins came out as aggresively as he did against Pavlik he would have easily decisoned Cal Slappy. And as good as Hopkins is now, he's still not as good as he was in his peak when he had 20 straight title defenses, it' just common sense that someone isn't as good in their 40's as they were in their 30's. I live in Montreal. I went to see Hopkins vs. Pascal/rematch. Let's just say i paid to see Hopkins fight. I paid $180 for two tickets. Worth every penny. Hopkins is a legend and backs his talk. He gave Pascal a tactical boxing lesson, he knows every trick in the book.I Hope Hopkins will be willing to return to fight in Montreal again one day.
