So this is my second morning getting up and listening to this song first thing. This is my favorite song on the album, too <3...but so is every other song :D I always feel a bit odd being a heterosexual guy and being so into her music...but I simply don't know anyone else that combines as many elements as she does in such a meaningful way...I switch the gender pronouns around in "Paper Bag" :D For me her catalog (as in I like *all* of it lol) is good for the downs, but the ups as well :)

@krankheit4 Fiona is one of those artists that you shouldn't feel embarrassed about liking if you're a guy. I'd say her music and lyrics are among the edgiest and forceful of any female artist, a hell of a lot more than most guy artists as well, IMO. Jeez, "Criminal" is some of the best song writing I've ever heard, and if it wasn't for the "I've been a bad bad girl line" LOL, I wouldn't even think of it as a feminine song!

Fiona Apple is my favorite artist. I hate her for understanding feelings that dont translate into words and being able to express them so clearly and bluntly and beautifully original that even if you dont like her type of music, you have to respect it.
