The early/mid part of last year, my aquatics shop had an African Lungfish, it must have been nearly three foot long and it was just a youngster!

I have caught these many times.

Some up to nearly 2m long.

They are so abundant in the basin we catch them in, you can literally catch them with your bare hands in the shallows. If they are worth money, I can see why everythime we go to catch(and release) these creatures, there are Asian immigrants there using the place as a farm to send back home or to serve on a dinner plate. When we approached them about them being protected, they just play stupid and likely go back when we leave.

haha but if you catch a few of these fish you could probably sell them for alot of cash i looked it up on the internet and some of them do go for about $80,000- $100,000 i wish we had them had them in the u.s. haha make some quick cash
