2400 years is how long we have gone without doing anything about thinking? Really? Special Ed would never be able to say any of this with a straight face if he ever read and understood any philosophy.

I don't think Edward De bono "is ignorant of philosophy". When he says Plato, Socrates, Pitagoras was "a gang" is a provocative way to try we can make focus on Design process. Rules of logic implies a great set back for creative thinking. Doesn't matter theoretical if you can not create new things.

trying hard to like him but there's no obstacle like arrogance which uncontestably is in abundance. Can't logically knock someone just for referring glowingly to own work but Bono is ignorant of philosophy which is ALWAYS an implicit promotion of thinking and often espouses awareness of itself as a thinking process,eg.Heidegger.Bono's contentn that he,40 years ago,resurrectd a critique of thinkg barren since Socrates is grotesque. Tellingly, his responses bore, his diction drab, humour moribund.

i found the basics of his work interesting(main CORT tools),the rest were too complex and unusable for my little mind

@GARIFIAN Hello. I'm curious about what you think of the other videos on YouTube that, interestingly enough, are much shorter and give a greater insight into some of what de Bono is about. Seems that possibly everyone that is interviewed repeatedly will invetably give a "bad" interview from time to time. de Bono barely gets going in this interview. I enjoyed the video titled "Edward de Bono on Creative Thinking" here on YouTube.
