@killerguitar44 Hey smart ass, you do understand that Crosby went to school in Canada and that anywhere in Canada you have french as a second language in school, as i recall Koivu didn't go to school in Canada did he now?!
Caliss!!
he speaks so casually in french like : une couple de jour, avec les gars hahaha Quebec loves him just because of that, the effort of learning the language
S.C. --> ""I wanted to continue to practice, and um, come to my home, uh, for a couple days, and, uh, come here too for a couple days to see some friends..""
Reporter --> **This is a surprise, you didnt say anything to the Oceanic organization, you didnt say you were coming ?**
S.C. --> ""No, no, just a few people, uh, I just came here and, uh, practice with the guys and see my friends and uh, its not such a big deal..""
He said : Despite of my 2 weeks off (olympics in Turin) I wanted to play hockey and practice. I'm going home a little for a few days (NS) and I came here a little for a few days.. seeing my friends.
No I didnt said I was coming here only a few people knew I was coming.. I just wanted to come here.. training a little and seeing my friends a little.. it's nothing much to me to being here. I'm happy."
Crosby says that he will continue to train during the Olympic break (the interview was in 2006) and that he will go home for a few days but will also spend a few days there in Rimouski (it is were he played his junior hockey) to see some friends.
Interviewer : It was a surprise you did'nt tell anybody that you were coming

Crosby learned how to speak french in 2 years in Québec (not perfectly but still nice).
Saku Koivu learned "Merci" (Thank you) in 10 years in Montréal.
Is Crosby nice or Saku Koivu an asshole?

His accent is so english. If I spoke to my French grandmother with an accent like that she would beat me. But good for Sid for learning French.
