think about how easy it is to play .500 in hockey compared to other sports with 2-column records. by .500 i mean points to games played, not total wins to toal games played. so in hockey 12th place teams in the conference can finish with over 82 points, so why is it so good that toskala also had a .500-plus record? it's not, he's not as great as you all make him out to be, i'd rank him as a TOP 10 GOALTENDER IN THE EAST, not a top 10 in the league n not a top 5 in the east.
He is definitely a top 5 goalie in the east. As a matter of fact the only goalie ahead of him would be Martin Brodeur. The Leafs were horrible last year, and Toskala was one of the few reasons they won any games at all. Your Habs would have been much better off with Toskala in net in the playoffs.

In ranking NHL goaltenders, you don't look at their win/loss record, you look at save %. By your logic, any goalie playing on a shit team can never be a top goalie. Lucky you weren't GM of Vancouver, or you wouldn't have traded for Luongo.
Oh, and btw, men's senior A is for guy's 22 and up.
