@flawless991 Do a weight where you can stay in between, 6-12 reps. Doing sets of 15-20 reps will just improve muscle endurance and not size. Make sure you don't go to heavy, form is the most important key when doing curls.

dude im new to these.. barbell curls and i feeel like my muscle and tendons are ripping apart from my elbowss. is it natural? or does it mean i got to lessen the weight?
@flawless991 Dude I started doing barbell curls about 6 months ago, and I thought they were realllly painful and hard the first couple weeks but thats normal, you'll notice them getting a lot easier as you build strength and get used to them. I'd stick with lower weight for now
@chinoxlxl i am having a nice diet, salad with everything and plenty of fruit, and water instead of juices. but im thinking would it be good if i did cardio 1 day weights the next etc...
@WARRIORMPG786 no point in working out if your diet isnt right! clean, healthy diet with lots of water. short rests in between sets to keep your heart rate up! good luck man!

I understand your wish to lose weight and gain muscle, but it's very hard to do these two processes at the same time; getting bigger (anabolism) and getting smaller (catabolism) are contradictory metabolic processes. It is best to have 'bulking' phases where you try to get bigger and eat accordingly, and 'cutting' phases where you get smaller and eat accordingly. I recommend attempting to lose as much fat as you can, and then follow a diet with the goal to gain lean mass.

@PwntsRocksU for arms people usually work them twice a week,as compared to other muscles like chest or back which takes about once a week to recover. this bcos arms are smaller muscle groups so recover faster than the rest. but its up to you :)

Yo brandon, im thinking about ordering tearexx today. Is it really worth it? I have the multi, whey protein, and fish oil down, and i work my ass off everyday. I'm 14 and haven't worked out in probably a year. i just did 8 sets of those curls for the biceps and probably somewhere around 15 sets of the triceps curls. Will I be soar tomorrow? ;)
Hey Brandon,When i workout (which is daily) i wake up at maybe 5 or 530 do cardio,chest,and abs then i do biceps triceps and shoulders at like 6 or 7 in the evening:::the next day i workmy legs and back does that sound good?
