I had the same thing happen to me in 1995. My 1980 F100 had a hole in the top of the tank and a hole in the bed directly above it. It had a 300 6 cylinder and still ran-not very well though. Love the old videos.

@BaconBits246 I think that truck is really a testament to how reliable old fords really are. It's been on the farm for a VERY long time with minimal maintenance and being treated horrible. If dave fixes the gas tank it'll run again too it's just water in the fuel thats keeping it from running.

Right, because you need 4wd to tow stuff and haul stuff in the bed. My truck's easily hauled more than it's own weight (To the point of tires bulging and oversized towing bumper scraping the ground) and it's towed a backhoe and other equipment much too heavy for it for most it's life. Dad allways kept it up engined and stiffer suspensioned though.

And i've gone through mud and soft dirt a plenty with a full load. Never gotten stuck before :/. Neither has my dad, in the 20-25 years he's used it for work.

Most trucks down south are two wheel drive. A 2wd would be about worthless on a farm here. 4x4's exist for a reason. Example: I used my 4x4 to pull someone in a 2wd truck up steep snowy road last night.
