so my friend who has his leg torn off by the sherman then had to have the rest amputated by infection in 2005 wasnt an injury? ive been re-enacting for 5 years now and i have seen more accidents than you see on the news to this day

I saw the TV documentary Weekend Nazis and frankly this thing makes me uncomfortable. War's not a game or an adventure you know. And David Irving has been a guest of honour at one of these displays. Enough said.

Weekend Nazi's picked on the worst reenactment group to give reenaction a bad name. The reenactors they interviewed were all arseholes and do the reenaction to support Nazism. Proper reenactors do it to remind people that the 6 year conflict shouldn't be forgotten. They also do it to show how tactics work, different equipment and just how a general battle would work out.

i agree that the re-enactors needed more cover, the axis were terribly exposed the the american fire, but in the whole i think the reenactment was very good.

but theyre should have been more cover, like low walls, bushes, tall grass
