i love how they use the same structure from the jam at the end of the Live 2006 version for the jam they do after the song on this one too. different body/filler for the actual jam, but the framework that they originally got from live 2006 is just brilliant.

I bought this video and I think the entire DVD is outstanding, including the video editing. The sound in the movie was perfect, and this is my favorite track on the whole thing. Joes attention to perfect tone, and special care of each note sends my emotions flying and diving into the entire song and feeling that connection many never feel at all. Joe is clearly a master who has improved beyond my expectations over the years. He got "it", and so did I. Merci Joe. Vive Satch! Fantastique

No, not at all. I grew up in the 70's and we had lots of video effects then too. lol I have a very hard time disliking anything Satch does. I feel he is one of the best guitarists ever. His work is amazing, and such a pleasure to listen to. No, I actually like the video effects. I have plenty of just plain Satch video to watch. It's a nice break from the norm. I think people can be too critical.

@Bibinou68 Satriani is beyond amazing, but don't let that stop you from experiencing other master composers like Paul Gilbert (scarfied, technical difficulties,... ), Buckethead (Whitewash live, padmasana,... ), Shawn Lane (epilogue for lisa, grey pianos flying, ...) and so many others.

Don't limit yourself to Satch :)
