I didn't read all 600+ comments; so pardon me if this was already said; having viewed several unboxing videos today; i can recommend a couple methods in the future.

1) with the outer box secured between your feet; lift the inner box, this can be achieved either with the position shown on screen; or from the narrow side

2) open/bend the flaps and turn the box upside down

hi mate,

im a videographer and currently use a windows PC with Nvidia Quadro graphics card, 16 gig ram, i7 processor etc etc and it can edit multiple layers of AVCHD footage with ease using Premiere Pro CS5. but I got a Macbook Air last week for non work use and have been so impressed that I'm now considering switching my editing PC to the iMac

can you please tell me if your iMac can edit AVCHD footage with ease? i ask because the graphics card is not Mercury Playback compatible?

@igetcha69 Yes the iMac can edit AVCHD as long as you have the right software (I used FCP 7 and now FCP X). Hope this helps!

@fasilee Hey, honestly I am not sure I would make an offer on this particular one. That SSD is an aftermarket install I believe which means the glass panel was removed in order to put it in the imac most likely you are going to see dust on teh glass screeen. Hope this helps!

I'm going to be buying the i7 iMac soon and I'll be purchasing the warranty with it as well. Does installing the after market DDR3 RAM chips void the warranty or just what Apple would normally cover for whatever RAM you purchased? I haven't got around to asking an Apple guy at the store near where I live and might not for a while as I'm still saving for the machine so I thought I would ask here, great vid by the way!
