@bboyhope10 You realize that most "new" hip-hop is just new lyrics laid over the skeletons of old songs right? DJs rarely play "new" music at jams, and the old funk and soul are more interesting anyways. I actually find much of this list to be a little electronic and cold for my tastes and for many of the people I dance with. Not quite the same warmth and soul of the original music from real bands with instruments. At least the Madcon cover goes after that warmth.
