By not tucking in those skirts, it makes your torso seem extremely long, and makes you look like you have short stubby legs, that's a no no. But wearing the skirt over the shirt you will lengthen the legs. Just a tip

Watching this video, I personally think you cannot dress if your trying to wear a high waisted pencil skirt and cover it with a blue tube top and white tee. SMH. Your supposed to tuck any shirt into any high waisted pencil skirt. If your trying to cover it then might as well just wear a mini skirt. Just saying.

I think if you tuck the shirts in the skirt it would look better and the first outfit looks bad with the blue tube top under the white shirt try wearing a white tank top under. And also don't pull your shirt down so far it looks queer.

And remember, having a tight top with a tight skirt can give off the wrong impression, so if you do choose to go with a tight top, just be sure to wear a lose cardigan or jacket over it!

Having the long shirts tucked into the skirt is much more flattering than untucked because it emphasizes the waste, making you look much smaller. When the shirts are untucked however, they hit at mid-thigh which is one of the widest parts of a woman's body, making it unflattering. If you do choose to go with a flowy top, just be sure it is hemmed at the hip so it doesn't make your legs look short and stumpy.

@GalileoHD Oddly enough I find that shorts work best. Anything that comes down onto the thigh leaving the butt area smooth. hope that helps :)
