It's not nicole's choice she does most of the stuff. They're a group that is made by a manager/record company. They're a product. Nicole always seems a very humble , sweet girl. I don't think she really wants to the only front person. By the way, I've read 3 of them are from the original PCD-dance group before they became a sing group. So chances are they problably can not even sing so well

As for the studio, mainly Nicole and Melody sing for that, I don't really think the other girls to (put aside the rerecorded WIGU for the video).

Most of the girls playbacked their solosong on the tour to be honest, Jessica did for the most part, Ashley did, Kim did, just Mel and Nicole did it live.

Melody looks a lot happier in this interview, in some of the others she's quiet and looking a bit annoyed. Even in her performance on Regis and Kelly, she doesn't put her all into the dancing. Don't get me wrong, I love Melody to bits, but I think the spotlight on Nicole is maybe getting to the other Dolls.
