@TITOR002 They take damage from dots (damage over time) and spells being cast. You know which players are on your own team ingame because the enemy players names are red and your friends are green/blue/white. Going behind the pillar for LoS (Line of sight) so the enemy team can't cast anything on you and you're safe from damage (except for dots already on you). The pillars going up and down is just this retard map which everyone hates, no other map has this.

I'll admit these guys have skills and eSports are a serious way to make money. Props to all involved. That being said, I'm SO GLAD I don't play MMOs anymore, or video games at all for that matter. I have a much better relationship with my GF and my kids and there's a lot of col stuff going on in the world that will make for much better memories than a raid or arena battle. Plus, I don;t have to watch people epeen in chat all day long. Good riddance WoW, UO, Aion, etc.

Really a 20 minute timer? I mean C'mon, these were the finals, what make a true champion is how they survive and fight against their opponent. These rules need to change. They can put a timer on the regular matches all they want, but take it out of the finals.

As a WoW gamer I would like to see the two titans battle it out, but like gizmo2084 said aAa prepared for that timer to go off. Eventually it's all about who was prepared for the short run, not the long haul. aAa was victorious because they played the game by the rules and there's nothing wrong with that.

The same concept should apply with Arena matches in WoW with a twist. There are plenty of raid bosses that have stages in their mechanics, some adding some kind of stacking debuff or a dot of some sort. So why not Arena matches, especially the Championship. Just an idea for Blizz.

If 20 minutes is the cutoff, then stop the game at 20 minutes and choose the winner. Don't allow it to go on -- getting the audience excited -- and then take the championship away from one team because someone fell asleep watching the clock.

@darklobo79 I'm not saying there can't be some form of overtime added, but you can't change the rules for a tournament match DURING the match. If 20 minutes is the cutoff, then the participants of the tournament and the crowd need to be aware of that (simply by adding a countdown timer to the UI) and the match has to be stopped as soon as time has run out. If someone had stepped in and stopped this at 20 minutes and 1 second, then the audience wouldn't have been so dissatisfied with the outcome.
