The clip I'm referring to is in "The Doctor's Wife", a 2011 series which takes place AFTER the blue sonic got destroyed and he was given a green one. So what I'm wondering is why the sonic is blue at this point when it's meant to be green.

Micheal Pickwoad I wonder if he is related to me. My name is Nika Pickwoad and to have the last name PICKWOAD is not common at all. I adore Michael Pickwoad simply for a story Steven Moffat shared (in "Confidential") about the season opener.

To hear Moffat tell it, he was getting a bit anxious (knowing the inevitable hype surrounding a US-set storyline) regarding the scenes in the White House's oval office... an iconic space, granted. Looking to his Production Designer for reassurance, Moffat asked, "Can we do this? Can we build an Oval Office?" To which Pickwoad replied, "Well, yes — It's just a ROOM!"

Simply awesome. :-)
