Back in 1999, there was only 2 division.

1A and 2A.

the 3A 4A and 5A divisions were all put into a division called the X division in 2001 and 2002, and then in 03, all 5 divisions became recognized.

Back here in 1999 4A was still quite new, 5A was very very new, and 3A was slowly coming about.

So 4A and 5A would be considered 1A

and 3A was considered 2A.

Yes, but this is back in 1999 when 4A yoyoing was barely around, Hironori was the craziest back then, If it were not for his 4A of the time, we would not have many of the tricks today.
