You're just not allowed in the student section if you're not a student, and if they catch you they kick you out. I've been kicked out for going over to see friends at halftime. I had a valid ticket (great seats too), a student ID and the game wasn't even going on and they wouldn't let us back in, so they apparently take it pretty seriously.

The only thing I had done wrong so far was wear a Clemson sweatshirt which was stupid of me. By the time I got to my section I sat down and people kept booing so I flicked everyone off. I'm not a USC student so I deserved to get escorted out. The cops didn't see me flick anyone off, they just singled me out (hard to miss orange) and escorted me out.

Also the police were just coming to escort the guy out of the stands. The guys sitting in the row directly behind him are all really good friends of mine and they said that the Clemson fan tried to hit the kid that dumped popcorn on him, so the cop restrained him.
