i bet iron man won't have another appearance until the avengers movie for 2 reasons, there was no opening for a 3 installment and by the time an iron man 3 would come out, so would avengers. also, i hope he uses the extremis armor in the avengers and war machine gets his own spin-off. it only seems fair since 2 other minor characters (deadpool and venom) in marvel movies are getting their own movies.

1. Iron Man 3 is happening, its just that it will be distributed by Walt Disney films now, and so is the Avengers..

2.they won't be using Extremis armor as long as Jon is involved in the movie making..

Quick little bit of info, The virus they inject the bad guy with, called "Extremis" was made by the chick doctor and the guy that kills himself. When injected it re-forms the body after a day or 2, and the person gets random super-powers. Tony made the choice to be injected with it but without the part that gives powers, to save is life. It gives him the ability to mentally link with anything electric or digital, and he can make that gold suit form from his body.

Extremis was about a virus that was supposed to make for the lack of a better word, a super soldier. The guy you see in the beginning of the video is the bad guy who injects himself with it. The virus makes him almost unstoppable, Iron Man even has trouble, until he reworks the virus to do a couple different things (dont want to spoil it) and then injects himself with it. The is the series where Iron Man becomes stronger then hes ever been, and is able to use one of the best suits hes ever made.
