Thanks for the video! I have been wanting to do a baby bonnet for my little Madison (due Nov 25), and my friends baby (also baby Madisen), and it called for Treble Crochet! I was so confused! Thank you for showing me so that I may give this wonderful gift to my friend! :)
thank you for having this video. It is really helpful to those of us that are just startingto learn how to crochet. I have one question for you----What size of hook are you using?
but i'll like to ask, what is the size of your crochet hook? is it 3.5 mm?
i'm having a problem with the tightness of the scarf... i'm using the 1.75mm hook, but the instruction says i need to use a 3.5mm one... i just try to leave every crochet a bit bigger... do you think it's okay for me to keep using this size of hook? Is the tightness of the crochet in your video a normal and usual one? i'll be really thankful if you could just kindly reply me :) thanks!
@cakcy I'm not the op, but I have to say that's a really small hook, compared to the recommended one. I would expect the resulting fabric to be quite stiff, instead of the relatively flowy fabric usually made as a scarf.
Do you like the fabric you're getting? If so, by all means go ahead. Crochet is wonderfully flexible that way.
If not, you can get a bigger hook, or use skinnier yarn.
This is very informative and easy to understand.

A shawl. Or as a border on an afghan.
