Wow, gripping dogfight. 3:31 - Barely avoided a mid-air collision! That would've been bad. I'm getting this game. I should be able to run this at max settings. The requirements for it are an 800 MHz processor while I have a 2.5 GHz processor! The only question I have is that is this game really dependent on your graphics card? If you have a poor graphics card, will that matter much?

Nice vid--music is really cool to. I love LockOn--I use a Hotas Cougar, and TrackIr 4 Pro, which is a great combination. Using those tools along with a 28" display at 1920x1200 flying is soooo much fun!!

TrackIr is a piece of hardware that detects movements of your head, and makes those same movements in game. For example, in lomac, in a plane, if you look to the left, your character will look left as well.

Sarcasm. Im saying this isnt ww2. You can use missiles in a dog fight. I dont think you truly understand what a dogfight is. I wish they would call it something else though.

Yep that's right. It's harder than you think. Your enemy has the same capability. Launching missiles at you from far away, you both dodge them all, you get to close range, and now you have to worry about getting right behind your enemy AND keep him from getting behind you. Also, you have to make sure that you fire a missile during a good position, or it'll miss. Dogfights now are just as intense as the ones back then. The planes also have guns for close range.

to all x-52 owners!! DO NOT USE THE SST software it does nothing for you, now listen the 33 and 34th buttons are on the throttle side its the slider wheel for your left pointer finger, go into control panel and move the slider, now go back into lock on and set key controls, then go joystick axis and hit change and move the joy accordingly, repeat until pitch roll and rudder are set, just click the key you want to change and assign the new key command in game forget the SST software its buggy

With my x52 I try to do my throttle axis and it won't let me use my throttle lever for the left and right axis for motor for throttle. Do you have any solutions thanks = )

I have a saitek X52 joystick and it seems that lomac is constantly detecting buttons 33 and 34 without me pressing on them.

This makes it really hard for me to assign new commands and fly without these buttons being detected by the game.

Does anybody have a solution for this?

I had the same Problem with the X52 and Lomac.

There is no way to fix it.

Just use the SST-Software from Saitek and create a Profile. It is very easy to use.

You only have to assign the Axes in Lomac.

So install SST and enjoy!
