  • Legendary !! =)))

  • 7 ppk don't wanna go to waw.......

  • This changed wrestling forever.

  • can any1 link me to a vid where bishoff joins the nwo?

  • "The big man... and the medium-sized man.." LOL Scott Hall was awesome.

  • @yoyothriller : My favorite Scott Hall line.

  • Flatout name-dropping the WWF was just crazy in '96.

  • I was 15, wanted to watch this and my parents let me order the Great American Bash in 1996 on pay-pay-view. Godbless them.

  • Hall and Nash really did have the wrestling world at their feet back then didn't they.

  • 3:02 - 3:08 -> priceless, precious

  • Comment removed

  • 4:52 "Exxculated" Botchamania Theres one for ya...

  • You don't jack us around

  • Anyone who saw RAW on August 29/11 will notice that Kevin Nash is still wearing that same bullshit striped t-shirt.What a cheap asshole.

  • D'uh,Nash & Hall wouldn't have been present if they were both still employed by WWF.

  • i LOVE how the floor was darker where nash powerbombed him. gee, they really did alot to diguise where the stage was just paperthin, huh

  • Dusty can't say war hahahaha he says waw lol

  • thsi was the last time wrestling was exciting.

  • "Nacho Man!"

    "Huckster!" LOL!

  • this is how you know your good....I hated Eric Bischoff soooo much (cause I was a WWF fan) when this happened I literally jumped out of my chair celebrating :)

  • Man does this EVER bring back the memories! This really takes me back to the end of 8th grade! This is back when the nWo was good and not overused like it was by the time late 98' rolled around.

  • would be nice to watch this with out that guy talking in the backround!

  • CLASSIC

  • Dubya C Dubya

  • My video owns this one toolbags!!!

  • Nice cumber bun tony

  • Watching this years later, it's still shocking!

  • "The MEDIUM SIZED MANE!"

  • nash is the tall one like 6"10 hall like 6 "7

  • Bischoff's a genius. Pure and simple.

  • Eric Bischoff was the best RAW manager ever. He was always the bad guy, but his voice brings back memories of the good days.

  • This was the best angle of ALL TIME!!!!!

  • LOL "the big man, and the medium size man"

  • Look How Tall The Outsider

  • i miss the nwo

  • 5 days for my 13th B-day! Great B-Day present, huh?

  • "Hey, yo!"

Scott Hall had a hard time shaking off the Cuban accent from his Razor Ramon days.

  • Did they pay Dusty Rhodes' salary in gravy?

  • nWo is just 2 SWEEET!!!!!!!!! 4 Life.

  • can we go back to '96 please?

  • @F0Xhound009 96?? hell, let's go back to the 80's and NWA and ECW days

  • @tedGEGI 1980's ECW?

  • that was awesome

  • Does Eric Remind Anyone Else Of Pierce Brosnan?

  • @TheMgallacher Bischoff reminds me of John Goodman.

  • Look at the size of Hall, I mean they always said that Nash was the big man, but Hall is pretty damn big. I think the angle would have been bigger has the third man been Bret Hart. Had Bret hart signed when Bischoff approached him back on march of that same year, Things would have been more interesting. During that time Hogan has been off TV for a few months, so it was so obvious that the third man was Hogan.

  • Wcw Rule

  • @USCXXX75 You mean, used to rule

  • Its a shame how they ran this story line into the ground...I'm marking out at this HARD

  • Everyone can say this and that about booking.Hindsight is 20/20 and most of these comments are the same things that have been said for years.

  • this is what made vince start wanting to get beat up by wrestlers

  • Halls hairy chest looks like an undershirt

  • @TheEbhagzzz

thats what happens when you shave your chest then let it grow out.

  • after seeing this folks, there is no doubt that hogan was NOT meant at first to be the 3rd man. nash said on nitro 2 weeks before 'where is hogan? out doing blunder in paradise" and then what hall said here. the immoral hoax hogan simply was not getting ANY response in areans, and saw these two come in and rode their coattails

  • this was my 9th birthday :)

  • they need to put a t instead of s on bischoff. eric bitchoff

  • "Carve them up"

  • nwo 4 life

  • Was that razor chants as they walked on at the start?

  • From a booking and performance stand-point, The Great American Bash '96 was the best pay-per view ever by any organization past or present.

  • Interesting you say that-the best booking, and the immoral hoax hogan was nowhere near it. for me though, i still think Wrestlemania III was the all-time best supercard. but i do see what you are saying about this event

  • @testacct1a I know WCW gets knocked for alot of things they did wrong. The one thing they did get right was the way Nash & Hall were booked...Total dominant bad guys that rip apart WCW from top to bottom. They did exactly what they said they would do & did it. This is how you book Strong heels. Now take a look at WWE's booking of the WCW invasion. That could have been the biggest money-maker, booking and angles for WWE than ever in any organization when wrestling was actually fun to watch.

  • I have to say I didn't watch the wcw invasion, as i haven't watched wwf since Owen's tragic(and preventable)death. So in your opinion, the wcw invasion on wwf was a flop?

Back to nWo, this group got WAAAYY to big. sure hogan joining created interest, but was it good for the long haul? no. Sting joining the nWo as the 3rd man-would that have been as interesting as hogan joining? no. would it have been better for the long haul? yes

  • Its not just my opionion, but the opinion of many who watch wrestling very closely(I'm no expert). Check out what I mean in the manner that H&Nash were booked Vs, the way WCW guys into WWF were booked. Vince let his petty ego get in the way of making billions more than he could have. Vince M had several examples to go by, from Jim C promo to New Japan to go by. Instead the lame invasion was about the Vince & his family instead of what fans REALLY wanted to see and thats great unseen matches.

  • Man WCW was the shit back in 96,97. You never knew on Nitro in the summer of 96 who was going to show up.

  • @diedahero I read that Kevin Nash is 6'8" 3/4 and Scott Hall is 6'5" 1/4.

  • nobody jerks us around

  • Classic moment

  • hall is 6 foot 6 and nash 6 foot 9 reaching 6 foot 10

  • One of the most classic skits of WCW and wrestling in general. You don't beat this kind of writing/performing in pro wrestling!!

  • when I saw that I was angry that they did that to Bischoff..about 2 years later I might've hoped that was real!!

  • WCW = TNA!!!!!!!

  • i hated this bischoff i like the nwo one better i can't see eric as beinng a bitxh

  • kevin looks short here, or hall looks taller

  • Hall was taller

  • @MylezDaBadGuy dude, Nash was a center for the Tenn. Volunteers. He stood at, like, 6'10. Hall was like 6'2-6'4 tops. Wash your eyes out, you're seeing things again.

Side note: How great is it they don't let Nash talk for like, another month, after his little verb mix-up and Hitler jokes from a week before this.

  • @mrferrier1 I think Hall was wearing some kind of boots that had like 2 inches on them, also the came was on zoom mode toward Hall since he was the one in front and doing the talking.

  • Did they want a brick wall or a Paul Wall?

  • At 3:00, Hall really sold that punch!

  • the big main and the medium size main

  • hall: medium sized man

since when is 6 feet 8 medium

  • lol that for sure is not medium

  • TNA ..............i mean wcw is great

  • Dusty is such a slob. His belt is hanging out, a half tucked old champion t-shirt.

  • According to Dusty, they wanted a wall.

  • eric so oversold that jackknife......lol

  • @ViperRob42 awesome lol

  • bischoff got what he deserved for talking shit about wwe

  • WCW was always at its best when it wasn't trying to be another WWF. I wish they had more faith in themselves.

  • Mad props to Easy E for that bump!

  • I remember picking up the phone to call the police. must have been all of ten years old. traumatic.

  • This is freaking outstanding if you tried to call the police!

  • One of the most significant moment in wrestling history

  • yee...

i remember everybody was talkin about that.

    i missed it live

  • Were Nash and Hall's WWE contracts expired already when they came to WCW?

  • yes they saiid they came from another company but note they never use wwf name...they were signed with wcw the whole time,

  • @pazzarelli26 yes

  • See this was the reason whyd i like this shit cause how kevin nash and the other wrestlers do their move on a table n what not

  • WCW was the shit

  • @Alhambrattp

Right on!....that was the best story line EVER!!!! 4LIFE!!!!....Lol

  • @Alhambrattp I miss these days.what the F is the Nextus...the nWo would have killed them. NWO/WCW 4LIFE.

  • @nowuknowtv

Well the Nexus were until Punk took over, a group of rookies trying to make a name for themselves. Unlike the nWo which was kind of filled with the biggest name in wrestling + many other top level wrestlers. You can't really compare them as they were two different groups.

  • @Alhambrattp

after this i noticed Vince got more involved phyically with the angles.

  • @northsider707

WWF always copied the industry leader WCW.

  • @Alhambrattp And now TNA is!!

    Chrisamania WorldWide 4 LIfe

  • lol, what a great work!

  • I can remember seein all this unfold back then at the time it actually seemed a bit shocking when yr used 2 goofy wrestling!

  • YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES! Eric got power bombed to HELL!!!! I remember this like it was yesterday. Ahhhh, the good old days!

  • dusty is so funny when he talks

  • And thus, a revolution is born.

  • Man i miss WCW

  • I wish to hell Hall could get his life under control. I really don't want to see him working in the ring unless he can get into serious shape, which I don't think he's capable of at this point. But he could do some great things behind the scenes for WWE or TNA. The man knows how to draw heat and work angles.

  • @Libertyman78 Due to his personal issue I would worry more that he might hurt someone else at some point.I will say a prayer for him the poor little dear. Not easy to live most of your life suffering the way he has.:(

  • @Libertyman78 man you're a selfish prick. A guy has serious personal and financial issues and demons and all you care about is what you watch of him on tv and hope it entertains you. Think about what you say first.

  • 'Forget about the past.... CHICO'

    LOL

  • nash is a real power artist...i love this guy...see the control he therw a non wrestler with ...so much control the way he threw him shows power and still not to hurt...

  • That's a good observation. Are you a wrestler?

  • lol...no its just that nash is my favourite wrestler so i like to watch his moves over and over thats all

  • AWESOME VIDEO!!!!!!

  • omg ive been looking for this for years!! thank you sooooo much!

  • Scott Hall was just GOLD on the mic....

  • Damn Bischoff took that Jacknife like a Man!!!!

  • I totally thought it was Shawn Michaels

  • how wen he was wwf champ then

  • madusa was the wwf womans champ and she jumped ship

  • i had a great summer vacation then watching the NWO vs WCW. how about you guys?

  • Oh yeah me too! I wish it never ended! I start thinking back to these times too much and i actually get sad because these days are no more.

  • yeah, it is sad.

  • yeah for sure I never thought back in those days that any of us would be on youtube going man those were the days we kinda thought the glory days of ecw wwe and wcw would last forever now alot of them are dead or no longer active sadly

  • u prolly never thought "utube" would exist

  • haha ya true enough

  • same man... not even summer the whole winter was full of nwo fevers

  • NWO and WCW!

  • did people think it was shawn michaels?

  • Scott Hall looks piss drunk again.

  • Eric Bishoff get owned XD

  • This was the first time i heard "WWF" on Nitro, as a young fan i was shocked too!

    Pete

  • Lol. One of my Nitro faves. Bischoff the following week was all like "All hail the nWo, they are supreme." Apparently all one needs to be persuaded is a Jackknife powerbomb.

  • I totally forgot that Hall came into WCW still using the "Razor" Cuban accent and persona.

  • Yeah, way to rewrite history. Biscoff didn't turn for awhile after this. People making shit up, geez!

  • Well, with the way Bischoff's turn was done, he was supposed to have been a member for awhile. Remember, when Roddy Piper showed up at the end of Halloween Havoc '96, people were clamoring for a match between Piper and Hogan. Eric was to try to negociate with Piper's agents to make it happen, but kept running into snags. He even said he visited Piper's ranch in Portland. Piper came to Nitro and called Eric out as a liar.

The NWO hit the ring, Eric hugged Hogan and the rest is history.

  • the official turn maybe, but it was implied that he was working with them for a long time. no one's rewriting anything.

  • what nationality is scott hall?, he looks hispanic so the whole cuban gimmick worked for him.

  • He might just be plain old American.

Though he did grow up near Miami, if I recollect.

  • Awesome. This was so unheard of back in the day.

  • *Back tracks to the past*

I remember when they first showed up, and everyone though they were just gonna be a REGULAR tag team duo...

    History!!

  • I remember my mouth dropping when this happened!

  • NWO 4LIFE

  • Hall and Nash!!!!!

  • u suck

  • Ratings say otherwise.

  • This is classic

  • NWO 4 Life

  • NWO 4 L```````````````````FE

  • you tell billionare ted to break out the money and get anybody you can cause the big man and the medium sized man and our suprise buddy are gonna CARVE THEM UP!!!

  • LMAO, Hall & Nash are this shit

Nash shows no remorse with the Jackknife through the table LOL

and if you look at the stage while they focuz the camera on Bischoff you can see Hall doing his signature taunt. lol

  • 3:07 oh for..OWW!

  • hahah bischoff got power bombed jackinfed right thru a table the good old days of wcw unlike the wwe

  • lmao@scott hall he was great on the mic sucks he never reached his full potential cause he stayed drunk 24/7

  • I Don't know, I always thought that the Black T-Shirts with, ya know [NWO] in white on the front were cool & everything, but there's two things I wanted to see that NEVER EVER HAPPENED....#1 was Degeneration X (led by Triple H/Sean Michaels, etc) in a power struggle against the NWO (led by Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Hall & Nash) & the other, is totally Un-Related, but I always wanted to see what it would be like to get Triple H (as World Heavyweight Champ) vs Brock Lesnar (back when he was WWE Champ)

  • say whatever you want. THIS WAS FUCKING BRILLIANT.

it was summer 1996 children and the NWO JUGGERNAUT was getting ready to ROLL, and all poor vince could do was sit back and watch LIKE THE OUT OF TOUCH GUY HE IS RIGHT NOW AT THIS VERY MINUTE.

This was just the set up for Hogans heel turn, EXPERT FUCKING BOOKING 101.

    Nobody saw this coming.

Fat chance seeing anything INNOVATIVE and CUTTING EDGE like this on Stephs WWE circa 2009.

i cant wait till this ALL HAPPENS AGAIN....YOULL SEE.

  • Just shows what a little competition can do for the industry.

  • poor easy e!!

  • All three belong in the Hall of fame. They made the great wrestling days of the late 90's. They put money in everyones pocket (Them and Hogan).

I am still a huge WCW mark from those days. Best time in wrestling history.

  • u want to start sum type of online wcw community with me?

  • THANK YOU i finally found this video thank you for mucg

  • A ground breaking moment in pro wrestling history.

  • i love the wwf disclaimer

  • Good of Dusty to dress for the occasion

  • LMAO!!!

haha i'm glad this happend to bitchoff.

he was a pussy before he joined NWO.
