  • Hey guys, watch this version of Wizards in Winter! Its amazing!!!

    youtube.com/watch?v=OZgzMcxeFPw&feature=youtu.be

  • Wow that is awesome

  • This instrumental RAWKS!

  • Wait, Pink Floyd? How? This is metal, not semi-decent rock-ish music.

  • @zekuhryuh Pink Floyd and TSO aren't comparable. Pink Floyd is fucking incredible. AND so is TSO.

  • 183 people like men

  • Sounds exactly like the recording in the studio... Sound is great but so PHONY looking...

too bad it wouldn't sound this good live.....

  • this one and christmas canon is my 2 favs of theirs. if you stop by my channel let me know what you think of my piano rendition of tso's christmas canon. might do this one as well.

  • I love this song!!!!!! ROCK RULES!!!!!!!!

  • I saw TSO last night in Dallas, thinking (and hoping) that the whole 2.5 hours would be similar to this performance. WRONG. The first half of the show was crappy, to me. Some story narrated by some guy that sounds like the guy that narrated How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Too much singing (which was lame in comparison to an actual orchestra concert). The second half of the show was GREAT !! Amazingly talented performers. Cut the singing and dancing nonsense, and it's world-class !

  • Saw TSO in Miami 12/9, man, AWESOME! What a show! This music will fire you up! Best show I've ever seen, no doubt.

  • LOVE IT!!!!!

  • Was cruizin around itunes and found em and bought 3 albums on the spot

  • Saw them in Greensboro on Wednesday with my lady. I'm now on Craigslist looking for a gently worn tux and a cheap guitar. Baby, please come back! Never trust a guy with better hair than you. TSO ROCKS!!!

  • I am suspicious of any band that only has a following during a certain time of year.

  • @EyeJayAre My first thought was "Joey DeMaio". )))

  • whoever disliked is a retarded jackass

  • I'm thinking Alice Cooper too lol. He probably would

  • This rocks!!!

  • Atlanta 2011, Best live show ever. Enough pyro to light your cigarette from tenth row. And LOVED new intro.

  • @ProgRockRoad I wanted to go to that concert SO badly. I mourned in my home a half hour away while I listened to their cds.

  • I went to their concert. With my grandma. She lost her hearing.

  • Make that 181. Which i will counter with a like! Ha!

  • It looks as if there are 180 grinches out there.

  • Asking for "thumbs up" is queer.

  • Thumbs up if you played this in orchestra class!!!!

  • Alice cooer playing violen??

  • @TheBum642 I was thinking the same thing

  • The guy with the violen/guitar at 1:07 looks like alice cooper.

  • @inthefuture3000 its mark wood

  • @cestiavie1887 Do not let this person take up one more second of your time. Said individual does not see the irony of criticizing Charles Gibosn & Diane Sawyer, who are respected as top notch journalist with a reputations EARNED over decades of acquired knowledge, with words right out of any kindergarden bully''s vocabulary. Hopefully one day he will get it on his own. Perhaps by actually listening and reading some TSO Rock Opera's as these reporters have done. Meanwhile enjoy the music.

  • these people can put on a show too! I just saw their concert, they are so incredibly talented, this makes all other music look awful

  • prog christmas music...GENIUS!

  • @HaveMoreWine his co-host that

  • @HaveMoreWine you are the most ignorant, agitating, displeasing, piece of defecation that would ever roam our planet earth. You wouldn't know or appreciate good music if it hit you on your thick skull.

  • @cestlavie1887 I know waaaay more about music that you. Your comments, in reaction to me not liking the group (and my annoyance over their comparison to the Floyd), sound like those of a 14-year-old brat who gets picked on daily in school and whose mother still bathes him. Lighten up, grow up, and if you're going to call someone a piece of feces, then SHUT UP.

  • @HaveMoreWine Really? The most talented people in the world audition to be in this group, and then only the very very best are selected out of that group of people. I highly respect this orchestra and I find what they make not only inspiring but also really really good. And how about you find a bit better insult than what basically every other scumbag youtuber says, kay honey?

Your mother is a hamster and your father smellt of elderberries

    your arguement is invalid

  • @cestlavie1887 I don't know how to classify their music, though. Heavy Metal Christmas ? It's like..... Mannheim Steamroller with ion - rocket - boosters. I say that as a positive thing, honest.

  • @cestlavie1887 Good one and nice touch with the Python comment!

  • alex motherfuckin skolnick

  • I saw them live this past friday..first show of there Winter Tour 2011..is was so insane!!! it was like wtf amazing

  • @yekratsnaed not awesome lol jk

  • Just in case you didn't know.....this is Savatage MK II. (Jeff Plate on drums, Chris Caffery and Al Petrelli on guitar)

Would've been much better if Jon would've been on keys, and Middleton on bass.

    RIP CRISS OLIVA!!!!!

  • Great, going to have this as my ring tone for ma phone such a great mix of music

  • @BEdrin1 i never stop listening to christmas music.

  • im going to that lubbock show also.. rock on.. seminole rep.!

  • where the hell is johnny lee middleton?

  • @tattika All original by Paul ONeill and Robert Kinkel. Wow Alex did make a slight boo boo but he is entitled to one after so many perfect notes.

  • I get to see them this november too!! In lubbock Texas!!! So stoked!!!

  • Do I see a Skolnick boo-boo at 2:41?

  • what original classic music it was based on?

  • I will be seeing them this November!

  • THIS IS AMAZING

  • that looked like alice cooper playing violin lol

  • do y'all use any yamaha keyboards cause all i see is korg but it sounds like theres a yamaha in there somewhere.

  • Very progressive, not, sorry folks this is blatant commercialism, IF this particular performance is atypical of the Orchestra's material, then I wouldn't purchase their albums, doubtless the individual musicians are very talented and in all probability were struggling to make a good living prior to the formation of the 'TSO'. Good luck to them if people want to listen to this drivel, let it be so, however please do not call it prog or symphonic rock, it's neither. BTW, I never read my emails .

  • @TheCamelFactor A fucking moron you are. These are very talented musicians you mindless fuck. Paul O'Neill? Producer of Aerosmith and Savatage CD's not to mention a brilliant songwriter and guitarist. Criss Caffery and Alex Scholnich? If you even have to ask your a brain dead stillborn. Al Pitrelli? Megadeth and Cher. Get a clue you retard.

  • @TheInamanica TheCamelFactor sayed that they are talented!

  • @TheCamelFactor __ i agree, they can't hold a candle to dream theater or the like, and it's kind of ridiculous how there's completely no originality in their songs, they throw in a few new licks here and there but it's nothing to be proud of. , BTW i have nothing against the individual musicians, it just doesn't look like they put much effort into what they do.

  • @Mugann1 You are a blithering idiot. Do you have any idea of the origins of this? This is the remnants (recreation) of one of the greatest and most innovative metal bands in history. Dream Theater doesn't hold a dim candle to Savatage in terms of creativity! Yes, DT are all great musicians, nobody would argue that, but they've never written anything like Hall of The Mountain King, Morphine Child, Sirens, Gutter Ballet, Dead Winter Dead....I could go on forever.

  • @McCartyrocks I think blithering idiot is going a bit far, you dont have to get all pissy just cause i dont like the song. and by the way i actually like hall of the mountain king, i just burned it on a cd so i could listen to it in my car. But its just that when i listen to symphony X or dream theater their music just sounds so much more inventive. i mean you can really hear the difference in effort and talent when you compare the music. but if this is your cup of tea then thats fine dude.

  • @Mugann1 OK....I will apologize for calling you a blithering idiot! lol sorry! BUT....explore more Savatage. HOTMK is probably their best known, but by no means their BEST. Aside from Fight for the Rock (Which even they hate, and didn't want to do) and the pre-HOTMK stuff, their albums are all incredibly good. This particular song is not actually my cup of tea, but TSO also has some really killer stuff. DID YOU KNOW...Christmas Eve Sarajevo 12/24 is a Savatage song not TSO?

  • @Mugann1 Dream Theater has kind of become like Rush to me. EXTREMELY talented musicians and good music, but it's almost become musical mastrabation. There's only so many times I can listien to a song that says "Look how much I can fill this song with my awesome percussion!" Don't get me wrong, I know Portney is one of the best drummers to come along is some years, but song structure with an emotional feel has become more important to me. (But I still love "The Mirror")

  • youfail.org!!!

  • I told my friend that I was going to see the Trans- Siberian Orches... I didn't even finish when she said "Eww, I don't like orchestras." I was thinking ... "ABABABA BUT they have fire and lazors and shredding gutiars and more fire and more lazors and violin shredding......." I forced her to look them up, then she chaged her mind. I just hate when people refuse to listen to them because of they have the word "orchestra" in their name.

  • They sound a lot like Puro Varrio.

  • One of the best songs to ever be made. Nothing can compete to that.

  • i hate it...on opposite day. lololol

  • if you hate it i will find you

  • so cool i like it lol

  • Omg I want to dress in tail coats and play christmas orchastra-metal when I grow up.

  • @bulletproofpunk weird that is the same thing my boyfriend said... (:

  • how I do to have this dvd?

can i download ? Thank you!!!

  • @Ribbo I have seen Pink Floyd and Queen, both are great and obviously influenced TSO and its not a put down of either band but neither of them could perform Moonlight and Madness, or Night Enchanted LIVE. To date TSO is the best rock band in the number of talented artist, versatilaty, and caring about the fans. The last show I saw was mind boggling and my orchetra seats were $50 each.

  • ok??????

  • Holy shit!!! It's Alice Cooper on the Flying V violin......lol.

  • The last time I say them the girl on the violin and the man on the guitar put their backs together as they were lifted into the air by a rising stage. It was brilliant.

  • Screw Jingle Bells this is much better!

  • Why do u headband? Yo. Guys (ppl) are so faking boring!!! Grow a pair and then make real music

  • This song is them? I never knew that 0.o I heard it on this Christmas lights video years ago 0.o

  • Just saw these guys in biloxi it was pure awesomeness

  • i'd like to report a bug here on youtube, theres a dis-like button

  • this is gunna be, this is gunna be, this is gunna be, gunna be-gunna be-gunna be, good! this is gunna be, this is gunna be, this is gunna be, gunna be-gunna be-gunna be, good!
