I dont understand you guys completely. I study wushu and i have you say you guys can do the moves, but why do you have a "Shaolin Demo Team" I mean why dont you guys just study shaolin gung fu and do demos once in a while. I just think that calling yourselves the "Shaolin Demo Team" is seriously disrespecting the thousands of years of tradition behind Shaolin gung fu. It not about being a TEAM , its about personal growth, and if you do a demo now and then,ok but dont call yourselves a team.
Have you ever been to the Shaolin temple? I dont even think the practitioners there know the "thousands of years of tradition behind Shaolin gung fu." I'd like to see you walk into the Shaolin Temple during a performance and tell the demo team, "It's not about being a TEAM!" I've been to the ST, know some "Shaolin monks" and practitioners and no one is that egocentric to say it's only about ME! Btw, Shaolin K/gungfu has a basis in buddhism and buddhism is ALL about teamwork. Study a little more

i would forget your dream, or find a new one. true shaolin monks deffinetly do not have sex! and for a foreigner to be apprenticed into a temple under a true monk is a hard thing to happen. a lot of masters from shaolin these days only teach wushu, have sex in temples, smaoke and most likely drink too. and for real shaolin martial arts you need to have unbelievable dedication, for your life!
Lol cheers for your comment but mine was stupid i actualy had alot mixed up i never wanted to be a monk at all but a Shaolin Warrior Disciple a performer of the Shaolin Arts where as a monk is just a religious bhudist so i can still get with the ladies lol i am never gonna live off that comment lol but i am staying dedicated and practicing each day untill i travel over to deng feng join a school and learn from there and i do choose to follow that life thanks for your luck the same to your dreams

what do you suggest they call themselves?
its not disrespectful if they are drawing interest to shaolin. and they've done pretty well with that so far.
