It seems you processed the output of your neon oscillators with a reverb effect. That lends quite a bit of the interesting quality to the sound.

The Neon oscillator is an invention of the early 1900 ,so it is not an new thing. The downloadable schematics on my site are based on the "neon relaxation oscillator" what is also simple to find via google . but , Neon Rule ! ..greetings ;)
