i've come to like gt5 more and more. I can accept the dull engine sounds.. But the tire schreeching?! That's just too much.. It seriously melts my brain. lol. Do they think that's what it actually sounds like inside a car on a race track?

this lap was done with the old GT5P JP version. All kinds of things have been fixed like tire screech, engine noise [f599, m3 e92], g25 handling so its not representive to what the game is at the moment and what the game will be when its finished [gt5].

FM2 has crash physics although not the greatest... something GT5 should have for it to be a REAL simulator... non the less.. looks like an awesome game... F1 cars, thats siiick, i may have to buy a PS3 just for this game!! ... & the blu ray of course :P

If you ask me, there is too much tire noise in this game to be believable. i havent played it yet, but it looks better, sounds better, and definitly beats everything else, except for the tire noise.

If you've actually played all 3 (PG3, FM2, and GT5P), and if you're honest, you'll have no problem stating the truth, which is - GT5P owns the other two, hands down, in all departments - cockpit, graphics, physics, sound, every .. fcuking .. damn .. THING.

Im not neccesarily a 'fanboy' but I've played GT since the first one, so I am a bit biased. But I won't cry if that guy buys a GT5 and does a Snap my GT5 disc. I've played FM2 and PG3 too, it just never really...captured me the same way that GT did. That's about all I can say about that cuz argueing over physics takes forever. And OBVIOUSLY, the sound from a TV to a camcorder to youtube will sound completely off. So people who think these sounds are realistic, are idiots.

The jokers are out in force. Just look at this its near photorealistic. Look at the way the chasis reacts when you go into a corner. Its exactly how a real car reacts. The graphics are totally smooth no chop, no poor framerate. Forza looks good but 2 minutes with it you can tell its lacking in realism, car feel, physics, framerate. GT5 is way ahead in all areas.

Lap times in Gran Turismo games are very close to real lap times, because the physics are accurately modelled. So the grip is realistic. Obviously you risk nothing in Gran Turismo games so you can go faster. The devil in a racing game is in the details. Gran Turismo games are the only ones where all the details are right. Therefore they're the only ones that give you the illusion of real racing. Forza is a fun game, but never convinces you, you're really racing. But

Man Project Gotham 3's interior cam-mode owns GT5. On this it seems like there are just a set of hands and a steering wheel (kinda like Test Drive Unlimited) while on PG3 it feels like your really in the cockpit.
