I never realized that "Balagtasan" was an earlier form of Flip Top. Good analogy. Of course Pinoys can rap in Tagalog. You can be surprised how diverse Pinoy Hip Hop has evolved to. I also noticed that the later Pinoy Flip Top is more of degrading the opponent now. There's less of the wit and punchline nowadays. Hahaha! Cool attempt at doing your own Flip Top guys.
