Another sad version of Hey Joe by someone who couldnt be bovered to learn the lyrics......If your gonna crucify this song at least learn the F*****G words
@MENOTYOUism hahahahhahaha Im laughin so hard right now, you are so fucking stupid, hahaha! Its okay if you didnt know that is the original, but to rip on it, hahaha thats just hilarious!
Sf drummer, thanks for the Hey Joe info, Pity i didnt meet you when i lived in San Fran in Potrero Hill. I played Blues at Lou's and the Salloon, although it was hard to hook up with the local musos. I always liked the grove that was below the Hey Joe progression.
@wazejames Another friend that remembers Billy very well, plays the Salon all the time, Lisa Kindred. Lisa and I played together back then, with Nancy Brown, and Rik Elswit in Sausalito. Shel Silverstein was also kicking around in those days!
I played drums for Billy in the mid, to late 60's. This version is very close to how Billy did the song in his show. He always played acoustic guitar and also played a great blues harp.
Thats Pete Fidler who is a member of the Waz e James band, he has a solo blue grass cd out called slide night and features on most of the Waz e James Vids on you tube.. check him out on keep a nockin etc.
Thanks a lot wazejames! This version is vachly gooood!
Not easy this peace; because so much great Blues soldiers's guitars and voices did it magnificently; that's why we are sometimes fussy when we hear it differently...
Hééé! wazejames do you know about this slider man behind (as usual) ?... I'm longing to know about him or she maybe ;)
