Today in San Antonio a soldier killed in Afghanistan will be buried at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
Sgt. Thomas A. Bohall, 25, was one of six soldiers killed in an insurgent attack on May 26 in Kandahar province. Bohall, a 2004 Reagan High School graduate, is survived by his wife, daughter, parents and three siblings.

I love this video and pray that we all understand what the sacrifice of our troops really means. My son is a 2/1 Marine serving in Afghanistan and it's so dangerous over there. Thank you to all of our troops and their families for their service and their sacrifice; you are loved and appreciated.

This is one of the most toughing videos I have ever seen.Having been unable to serve due to medical reasons it really touches me.I worked for many years in private industry and now work for an Army Depot, I realize every day why I go to work,,,,,to protect the young men and women that fight for our freedom each and every day.It gives me a feeling of satisfaction knowing that every day i perform functions in my job that allow our uniformed personnel to remain safe.Thanks so much!!

have you graduated boot camp ? I have, its alot of hard work. I haven't deployed as of yet but I go to my guard unit every month and I stand ready when called upon. Graduating and doing my job in the national guard is a service.0nly 1 percent even wear the uniform, service is not being deployed its signing the dotted line and doing your committed service, get a clue .
when you complete your bootcamp and ait please let us know,but until then put a cork in it. Better yet why don't you move to some other country. I'm sure you'll just hide behind your keyboard and spu your mouth like all the other ungrateful idiost that haven't done a dam thing but run your mouth.

Iraq War Vet. USMC 9 years. Givin many things to this country, even my leg. People dont know what it takes to have to dig your own bed in the sand, and only get 4 hours of sleep to wake up to bullets flying over your head. i am a proud army girlfriend and the sweetest thing is when some one comes up to my boyfriend and thanks him.we were at the store he was still in his ACUs and two little girls around the age of 4 ran up to him and asked him if he was in the army he said yes and they wraped their arms around his legs and said that was so cool and that army people were cool.we were so touched that we stood in the store with a big smiles on our faces and tears in our eyes. you dont know how much a thank you means.

This is one of the most toughing videos I have ever seen.Having been unable to serve due to medical reasons it really touches me.I worked for many years in private industry and now work for an Army Depot, I realize every day why I go to work,,,,,to protect the young men and women that fight for our freedom each and every day.It gives me a feeling of satisfaction knowing that every day i perform functions in my job that allow our uniformed personnel to remain safe.Thanks so much!!

I've had kids run up to me, and huge me. Little ones point at me and say "Hey mommy! Its an Army man!" Its really cute, and fun. Going through airports is the worst, haha, everyone runs up to you, and says something! But it means the world to hear it! Thanks for your support!

It just seems pointless to thank someone that just got out of boot camp & hadn't even been a part of the war. There was video footage of initial bombings of cities in Iraq. The civilian death toll in Iraq since the war began greatly outnumbers the ridiculously high U.S. soldier death toll (4429). As of 2008, over 86,000 Iraqi civilians had died as a result of military action.

have you graduated boot camp ? I have, its alot of hard work. I haven't deployed as of yet but I go to my guard unit every month and I stand ready when called upon. Graduating and doing my job in the national guard is a service.0nly 1 percent even wear the uniform, service is not being deployed its signing the dotted line and doing your committed service, get a clue .

Iraq War Vet. USMC 9 years. Givin many things to this country, even my leg. People dont know what it takes to have to dig your own bed in the sand, and only get 4 hours of sleep to wake up to bullets flying over your head. Watching your best friend be struck by a bullet in the face and another being blown up while walking to the bathroom. . My service has been forgotten by a unthankful america.

Beautiful! Very touching and heartwarming. My 17 yr old son, who has been in ROTC for 3 yrs now, has just told me & my husband that he is enlisting in the marine corp next year when he turns 18 and upon graduation. While I am shocked and scared for him joining during these times, I am also very proud at his decision.My husband is an army vet himself and my son wants to serve his country just as his father once did.God Bless all our men & women who served and who are currently out there serving.
