Hi Marshal, I write 'cause I need your help please, I'm the owner of a flashlights web site in Mexico and have problems getting 18650's, I've watching your vids and I'm aware you use trustfire in your bussines and like to ask if, can you give me the email contact? In order to buy them such useful 18650's. I almost run out and as you know Chinese new year holidays doesn't help to get them fast. Thank you! email: maxpeditionmexico@gmail.com
Thanks for the review, Seems like a light that comes close to our needs.
We, (police force) are looking for a tactical light that meets our standards.
Always comes up in Strobe mode, momentary switch, as good a throw as possible (little spill). 18650 or cr123 powered, 300 Ansi lm or higher, what would You recommend?
Keep in mind, under stress You don't have time fumble around with switches and modes. One click and it HAS to blind/distract your opponent.
@BMWHP2 The Jet III M would be perfect for that, although you would have to deal with programming each light and the possibility that someone could change the programming. Another good option would be the 4Sevens Maelstrom G5. Shoot me a message if you want to discuss further.
hey Marshall, appreciate all your videos, trying to narrow down flashlight selection to a few. Just trying to figure out if there is anyway to scroll between the different modes. I see how you programmed them for the intial turn on, but how do you go through the modes after its been turned on if you just want to change it up. Can it be done, or you only can use the mode thats programmed? Any UI that you prefer among EagleTac, Fenix, Olight, Lumintop, Jetbeam, Sunwayman. Im interested? thx
@grandeson10 Head tightened is always max output and head loosened will be the one mode you have programmed. Other than that, there is no fast access.
I really like the Olight M20S interface. The two switches make changing modes really fast and easy.
i just recently got this flashlight and i am VERY happy with it except for the fact that i am now having a hard time entering the user defined mode. I was able to enter that mode two times initially and now i cannot! any advice? how can i reset the memory back to factory settings?
Just one question: As far as I recognised you can remove the button on the R2 easily with the steel bezel on the end, but how I’m supposed to remove it on the R5? From the inside I suppose, but how?
This is one of the best flashlights I have ever seen and used. I own the R5 model with the SMO reflector, works fine with me. I had some mud sessions so far and the flashlight is still functioning. Oh and just by the way... you are the first one that managed it to explain this f**** programmable mode, thanks a lot for that! (None of the Germans were able to explain it with sense...)

Blood tar quit beein gay jetbeam rocks and 85 dollars ain't shit that's actually a good price and goingprepared is right Coleman is good I have 2 of them but ur not gunna buy the jet-III M and just pute it in a dresser or shelf and never use it again it's designed and built to handle anything..good review man as all of them are
A programable flashlight? A true survivalist and prepper would NEVER buy such a gimmick. A $19.00 coleman LED with rechargeable batteries is all you'll ever need or want.
@BloodTar It is made to be a military grade tactical light, not something that is throwing it in their bag never to be seen again. Colemans have their place, but they can't handle the recoil of a firearm like this was made to do.

I think your dog likes the broader throw of the R5 over the narrower beam of the R2 :-)
I came here from Sootches channel. Im definatley buying the Jetbeam III from you guys!

@556DOS45 If you like broad, get the XML. It is even wider than the R5.

CarbonModZero 9 months ago
@CarbonModZero Up close you will see that on pretty much every light. It disappears after you get a few feet away.

@slowbra01 Should just be three soft presses when the head is loosened. If it is not working, you might have a bum unit.

I JUST GET MINE, AND GETS REALLY REALLY HOT IN TURBO MODE AFTER AFEW MINUTES, IT'S NORMAL?????????????????????
THELASTWRAITH 1 year ago
@THELASTWRAITH Yes, that is common for high powered flashlights. It shouldn't be so hot that you burn your hands, but they do get pretty warm.

diceman1367 1 year ago
@diceman1367 You remove both of them from the inside of the switch. There is a retaining ring that you have to remove first.

85 seems resonable. Is it waterproof or resistant?
nickwoo2 1 year ago
@nickwoo2 Water resistant to IP 68, same as most lights these days.
