  • Abortion saves lives

    Howard Stern

  • The president said that while "maybe we won't agree on abortion ... we can still agree that this is a heart-wrenching decision for any woman to make."He urged supporters work together to reduce the # of women seeking abortions by reducing unintended pregnancies, and making adoption more available, and providing care and support for women who carry their child to term."

  • & endorsed the drafting of a "sensible conscience clause" to "honor the conscience" of doctors and others opposed to abortion.

Let's "make sure that all of our policies are grounded in clear ethics, as well as respect for the equality of women,"

  • Prevention and education to prevent unwanted pregnancy is truly pro-life for women and fetuses. If every pregnancy is wanted and planned, there will be zero abortions. vaginal intercourse is never going to stop, which is why birth control education is important. Some people don't know about the consequences or how to use birth control properly. Education is the main function of Planned Parenthood, not abortion. I don't see why people want to ban a place that works hard to prevent abortions.

  • they regulary give out the morning after pill....

  • not to underage minors they don't. In what state? Please find your information from a qualified and unbiased source. Don't listen to those brainwashing anti-choice people because they lie and even go as far as shooting doctors and innocent people who have nothing to do with the laws. In fact, most are too ignorant to know how to go about getting the law reversed.

  • in indiana there were a few weeks ago and i know not to minors but does that really matter abortion is abortion anyways all im gunna say is i'm against it not violently against it...

  • abortion is abortion. Pharmaceutical companies don't make money by giving it away and FDA rules that a pharmacist would have to prescribe it. Even in Hoosierland I doubt Planned Parenthood passes out morning-after pills on a whim. check out the quote I am posting right above this comment.

  • MYTH: The "morning after" pill is not available to minors without a prescription

As of April 2009, Plan B is available to women ages 17 and up, nationwide, over the counter without a prescription. (You just need to ask the pharmacist.) It has been available over the counter for those 18 and up since 2006, while individual states could make their own rulings about availability to minors.

  • Nine states—Alaska, California, Hawaii, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Washington, and Vermont—have sold and will continue to sell Plan B directly to women of any age.

  • Plan B, also known as the "morning after" pill, is not the same as RU-486, a pill that causes an abortion. In fact, if you take Plan B when you're already pregnant—that is, if a fertilized egg has attached to the wall of your uterus—it won't make a bit of difference.

  • i got the above info on msn's home page there is a link dont know how long it will stay up though

  • anoying!!! go to work or to school!!! american rednecks!! i only say: YOUR NAME IS EARL!!

  • I don't like abortion just as much as you guys do, but you aren't protesting abortion, you're protesting safe abortion. If a woman wants an abortion, I would rather her get it done safely and not with a wire hanger. Its as simple as that.
