you won't think I can't do it? probably because I don't work so much on 3D camera but if I would spend so much time to it then I could do it. This video was work on 5 people in it. I doubt 1 guy can do the whole thing especially working with 1 3D effect like this. I know all the basics what they did there.

one of the main characteristics that made this amv extremely well done isn't just the difficulty of how to use the effects, it's the fact that it was done very originally and shown well, meaning the concept was well into the editor's minds before they started. Saying that you can do the effects, or manipulate the 3D motions doesn't mean anywhere close to saying that you could have thought this concept up so well and put it into the form of an amv.

actually it doesn't really matter 3ds Max and C4D can create this exactly in the same way, it's the way how 3D work, and the intro animation can be redone with AE too :P

i'm not doubting that you can recreate this AMV, i just say that i wouldn't recreate it, as a music video this one is the perfection in my eyes, you may do it BETTER, but in matter of this exact style, this AMV shall stay on top

but of course you can do what you want, have fun, i would watch and enjoy it anyway

Yeah I liked Nostromo's vids a lot too, including Magic Pad, but for some reason I just like this one more for some reason, probably because I've actually seen this anime and see all the different effects and such they added in here.

Nostromo has the flow department of amvs owned -.- his works flow perfectly together with animes that are totally unrelated =/ he is a master of internal camera movements to make it look like he is actually controlling the anime itself. Now the effects of spoil blow the pants off of Nostromo XD this thing is insane!!!!

you do realize he doesnt use any camera movement. All he does is find a good clip that does itself in rotation and some other anime does its own effect. The only he does is adding text. For nostromo, in the beginning, he used rendered background and used as Overlay or Opacity is about 50%.

Key, I ought to beat your ass. Nostromo uses Premiere mainly and he doesn't use any AE. He doesn't rely on 3D to make clean effects, he edits frame by frame with a shitload of masking and color effects and epic scene selection. He also uses a ton of pan/crop, even though it doesn't look like it sometimes he does, those aren't normal scene rotations.

Also pinoy, he's come a long way since the beginning, go watch running man :P

He has to use some AE or Vegas O.o how did he do the beginning of running man without AE's camera or Vegas 3D? it had to be one of them! Unless premiere can do that :O and i dont think it can. And i guess the Textures like the wavy lines in Magic pad could just be a photoshop texture and applied in premiere. i just usually think vegas when i see that ^^'

The begging of running man was an OP with color changes, he doesn't use vegas at all, for one, he edits on a mac from my understanding, and vegas really is a shitty program compared to Premiere. He might do a tiny bit of AE now, but he never did, and I don't see anythign that couldn't be done with premiere + photoshop.
