They are both incredible! but Stephan Forté is a bit more advanced in musical theory and his solo line's and choice of notes are a bit more tasteful. i love Jeffy boy for his rip your head off style of playing. But once again, they are Both great incredible talents.

I love Jeff Loomis, He have a great technique but I'll vote for Stephan Forte, because he comes from my homeland and he is more diversified than Mr Loomis
as much as i love Loomis, i must say Forte has got this one

NOW THIS IS A REAL "guitar match" !!!!! both are so fuckin awesome and versatile, and seven stringuers!!!!! but for my taste i'd choose Forte!!!!!!
