dude, I have read stories of A.F.Afanasiev a long time ago.These are russian national fairytales, so noone is the autor. And Vij is something like vampire in english or вампир in serbian.

but this 1967 Vij original is a work of genius , its well ahead of its time.One of russia's finest.
